“”We show that through a better understanding of the molecular and physiological properties of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, we can find novel ways to control them without the use of drugs,” Süel explains. My daughter, the medical doctor, told this to me when she was here over Christmas break. She also told me about a man she saw who was eating a foot long club sandwich who wanted her to examine his uh, well, while he was eating his sandwich. She told him she would prefer that he save his sandwich until later.

I hope this works, but I still think they need to put an end to irresponsible prescription of antibiotics.

Magnesium blockers are out.
Something that binds to the mutated ribosomal binding site in the bacteria without messing up other cells magnesium binding sites in the host is a tall order.

Happy New Year!

The downside, depriving your body of magnesium will kill you before the resistant bacteria can.

"We hope that our work can help identify conditions that hinder antibiotic-resistant strains without requiring development of new antibiotics," Moon and team conclude.

This could be a blessing.
