Salvation Army Angel Tree Drama: These People Are Not Grateful In today’s video we’ll be discussing how some parents are not grateful for the gift given to their kids for Christmas by Salvation Army Angel tree
FReepers youtube and tic tok is blowing up over this. Some who received items from the Salvation Army's Angel Tree were quite ungrateful and posted about it. They have since deleted their video over bad comments but everyone saved them. People are upset, as they should be over this. Now not all were going on tic tok and saying their "Christmas was ruined" but enough has done this to have hundreds of videos made.

I don't know about you all but I don't have the kind of money to buy a kid a play station 5. I'd actually love to have one for myself but it cost a lot and I have other things that need to be paid for. Some feel and now I do that the Salvation Army needs to put a cap on what the kids ask for. I could afford a Barbie doll, train set, or a teddy bear but a play station 5 is out of the question.
I also wonder if the kid is asking for that or if it's really the parents?
When you don’t value anything, nothing is the same as everything.
I stopped donating to Salvation Army when they went lib. Now I only donate to animal charities. The pups will appreciate any toy they’re given..
A lot on these Angel Trees were single moms, no surprise.
They value getting their nails and hair did. Plus those expensive eyelashes. Yet they don’t have the money for toys for their kids.
There are other ones around Christmas. There is Toys for tots and Secret Santa. Some churches other than the Salvation Army have it too.
Most people first think of the Salvation Army because of the Red Kettle and bell ringers plus the Angel Tree inside the store, but there are other organizations that help out too.
Giving to your local pet rescues and volunteering is a great idea; however, almost all national animal funds are very wasteful.
There are two sets of issues. One is people complaining that the donations were the wrong size, or things that the kids didn’t ask for. Its OK to be disappointed about that. But then there were the ones where the parents were disappointed that the kids didn’t get expensive gifts. That is ridiculous.
A person who works for a garbage company in my community said he saw several unwrapped gift boxes in the trash after Christmas.
It was in a location where agencies give Christmas presents to those in need.
“Giving to your local pet rescues and volunteering is a great idea”
Helping people especially unborn babies, should be a priority over helping animals .
I only donate something “in person”. And for those beggars at the traffic lights, I hand them a “help wanted” ad. Since I know where they will be each day, if my driving is going by one of those stops, I clip the ads out and take them with me. Maybe one out of 10 keeps the piece of paper. Half of them flip me off even though they are real jobs. I refuse to help people who won’t help themselves.
True. The best thing you could do is take the largest (50 pound) bag of cat/dog food down to your local shelter. They will go through that like a hot knife through butter in a day.
Also go to the Dollar Tree and buy bleach by the case and take that to them. As many cases of bleach as you can afford.
cat litter. Does not need to be expensive just the biggest bag you can find.
also at Dollar tree leashes, collars for dogs they can always use. If you can afford it go to a pet store and buy dog muzzles in all sizes, the dog warden will love you for it.
FIRST WORLD PROBLEM
I just loved the bell ringers and brass bands. Stuffed all my year’s contribution plans into those kettles. Without them, it’s not the same. They were already going to automated recordings, so it was less of a pain walking by than I thought it would be. Besides, people take care of tots. We need more people taking care of pups.
On a side note, I wonder why these morbidly obese welfare queens with ginormous butts think that a weave or fancy nails makes them attractive? If anything it only accents their hideousness.
These People Are Not Grateful!
They never had a lesson of doing without a lot of things greed infested.
My next door neighbor always did those things for no-kill animal shelters. We just wrote checks for him to give his preferred shelters. Also wanted him to look good bringing in donations. My other charity was the nuns at our high school’s pension fund. When the last of our teachers died, I stopped those contributions so the pups did better.
One time my brother reached into his bag of groceries and handed the bum a beer. LOL.
Local only. Agree completely. And no-kill only. That’s a firm requirement.
The bulk of my charity giving goes to animal shelters as well.
My wife and I give to Toys for Tots, typically its Legos, the yellow brick tub full of generic build bricks. Reasoning: Its contained with its own container, it helps with their creativity, and Its NOT a video game. I guess its bound to happen (ingratitude), and we are of the view that its what would have made our Christmas as kids.
side note: our kids love LEGO and are now branching into models, my daughter got a “snap tite” model of the Titanic. She’s 12 and wants more. My son (14) is wanting a 3d printer to mod his nerf guns. Its a planned birthday present.
