China 'turns on Putin' as calls grow for Beijing to invade Russia

Chinese nationalists are calling for Russia to return land they claim was stolen by the Kremlin in the 19th century.

A video on Chinese social media has called on Beijing to take advantage of Moscow's weakened position to seize large parts of Siberia and Russia's Far East.

The clip has gone viral in China and has racked up millions of hits among viewers on TikTok.

-snip-

The Treaty of Aigun in 1858 forced China to cede much of Manchuria to the Russian Tsar Alexander II.

The territory, comprising some 600,000 square kilometres, is part of Russia's Far East and includes Vladivostok - the base of Putin's Pacific Fleet.

In the video the Chinese narrator calls on China's "thunderous" army to "rush north" and retrieve the country's historic lands.

China won’t invade Russia like Russia did to Ukraine. Instead, the Chinese will wait for (or foment) a civil war in Russia, then come in on the side controlling the nuclear weapons. Then it will be next to impossible to get the Chinese out.

It’s been 3 years and you’re still struggling to conquer villages 5 miles west of Donetsk.

Much of Siberia is of Eastern Asian stock. I could see China sending “colonists” under the guise of illegal immigrants into Siberia. This is being done now in Europe and US. It was also done in the 1830s in Texas.
Inevitably the immigrant/colonists will claim mistreatment by the Russians and pressure for Chinese intervention.
Siberia is much more valuable to China in the long term for land and natural resources than Taiwan will ever be. I doubt the Russians could put up much resistance with conventional weapons.

To establish a border.

China NEVER collected taxes or maintained control of the area.

Chinese “lusting” after the resources of East Russia is not a new concept. These types of stories have been bouncing around “strategic” forums for years.

please link to one of these stories? Thanks.

If they can’t put Ukraine away in three years, the Russians better hope this article isn’t serious.

Everything I'm seeing/reading suggests to me that China is also in pretty bad shape.

There is a general problem these days where people don’t read stuff unless it tracks along with their view of the world. It is most evident on FR. I am glad to see you are not of that mindset.

They literally published books about it. It’s their goal and deep cultural ideal.

Any recommendations for such a book published in the past 20-25 years?

Thanks.

>>>>One could also ask how much is the Kremlin paying the usuals as well<<<<

I’m sure that if Biden’s State Department got a whiff that the Kremlin was paying off people to post Russian propaganda on social media sites, it’d be all over the news.

RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA!

I’m surprised the Biden Regime hasn’t fabricated news reports saying it’s happening.

Doesn’t have anything to do with Taiwan.

The reference here is to communist China, and the “nationalists” are communist Chinese loyal to communist China.

Which is why the globalist types and especially Obama and the Russians wanted Ukraine to give up the nuclear weapons it had. So long as it had them it would have been safe from invasion.
