How many Supreme Court Justices will Trump replace in his second term in your opinion?

I’m going out on a limb and say 3, 1 leftist and two Republicans.

Sotomayor may be replaced due to death or at least severe health conditions.

Thomas is getting to that age, which is a shame since he is a stalwart constitutional conservative vote.

“Will Cruz finally get his chance??”

Cruz should be a nominee.

The elderly conservative justices should step down and allow President Trump to put in younger conservative justices who will then be on the bench for decades.

You’re assuming that such exist.

Good point. The district and appellate judges are also critical. But I’d say that 100 is a disappointingly low number for Trump to appoint. Biden got 235 confirmed.

The real key is to take control of the Deep State, CIA, FBI, DOJ,... so that they can’t blackmail current judges.

Fascinating hypothetical. Imagining her questions of counsel from the bench. “What difference, at this point, does it make?”

On a related but different SCOTUS position I think DJT should, within the first month propose to expand the court to 15 justices. That would immediately scare the he!! out of the dems and I believe they would immediately come out in support of making the number of justices 9 by law or part of the constitution.

This would have the effect of finally putting to an end this crap we constantly get from them every time a decision comes down that they don’t like.

Had no idea Roberts was going to be 70 next year...he’s aged well.

Given that, I could see Trump getting up to 4. Though I think all the justices will attempt to hold on until they are put in the ground. Too much power for most to let go.

I’m beginning to think what I read (in post #4) was wrong. As you noted, Biden appointed over 200 federal judges. And I just checked. Trump 1.0 also appointed over 200 federal judges.

So that 100 number for Trump 2.0 does seem way too low. Maybe it has something to do with the average age of current judges. I’ll try to find the original article.

Absolutely not.
Trump can make all the deals he wants, but to elevate and dignify that wine-soaked, traitorous old wench, to anything besides a prison cell, would be out of the question.
Think about it...after all the crimes we know she’s connected to, all the dirty deals she made, all the money she stole, and the Americans she got killed?
No way she gets close to the USSC. I think Trump knows much better, than to propose that.

While I think Cruz would be a great choice, the PDJT administration simply has to stop pulling R senators and R reps for admin jobs. The margins are too thin in either body. A few few Rs that get their feelings hurt or get some other bug up their a$$ can kill much needed legislation. The other side has no compunction about threatening it’s members with dire consequences to insure 100% compliance with their leadership. It is the squish Rs that create all the drama, drama that need not exist.

I believe that the number of justices is set at 9 by current law; that is why the Dems would have to suspend the filibuster to pack the court.

> With a 6-3 SCOTUS lead Trump ‘offers’ the job to Hillary in return for smooth confirmation of the young conservative replacements. <

Well, that’s different. Anyway, it supposes the Democrats and the RINOs will hold up their end of the deal. They will not.

**No way she(Hillary) gets close to the USSC. I think Trump knows much better, than to propose that.**

She’s old. This ‘offer’ would be a troll. She wouldn’t accept the grilling she’d get from the Jon Kennedy’s on the committee.

I’ve always wondered how many Justices have been compromised (blackmailed) by the DeepState through spying on them.
