A couple months ago we watched a “documentary” that was WAAAY “out there”.

Kennedy didn’t die. He faked his own death to protect his family from nefarious actors who hated him. Dulles Brothers? CIA? Cuba? I didn’t remember now. The dead guy actually was the cop J.D. Tippit who looked so much like Kennedy that his nickname at work was JFK.

Jackie was in on the con. She pulled a string that released a squib device with fake blood like they use in Hollywood.

It was hilarious — ridiculous but entertaining. “JFK X: Solving the Crime of the Century”. On Tubi, Freevee, Amazon.

Oswald’s weapon was manufactured in 1940, it wasn’t “a piece of scrap” by any means. It was cheep back then, ($12 about $200 today) because the Italian government was sitting on thousands of them and decided to let them go to the surplus market. Many hunters back then used them.

Files in that interview seems very nervous as it was a earlier interview by, i think, a former retired prosecutor. FILES is lot youger in that interview.

I believe Oswald shot JFK and that he acted alone.

I too believe that Oswald shot JFK, but I'm not sure he's the only one who shot JFK. Here's why:

In the Zapruder film, at the point just after where JFK had already been shot and was holding his neck he leans way, way forward.

Then, he violently jerks back to the rear. There's only two ways this could happen: 1) The force of another bullet from the front pushed him back, or 2) His own muscles moved him back in reaction to another shot in the head from the rear.

So, sit in a chair and lean forward, then try to use your muscles to move your body back as fast as JFK's body moves back. I've tried, and I just can't move my body back that fast. It's not proof, but it makes me go hmmmmmm.

Also, in the Zapruder film, when JFK has been shot and he is clutching his throat, Governor Connelly is still sitting upright, holding his cowboy hat with his right hand - disproving the Warren Commission's theory that the two were shot by the same bullet.

The public was never supposed to see the Zapruder film. It remained hidden until Geraldo Rivera obtained a bootleg copy of it in 1976, thirteen years after the assassination.

Except that theory doesn't make any sense. Why would the CIA want to challenge the findings of the Warren Commission? They were perfectly fine with the Oswald "lone wolf" theory of the crime.

The House Committee on Assassinations convened in 1976, following the release of the Zapruder film, because the Zapruder film provided visual evidence that the Warren's Commission's conclusions were wrong: Connelly was shot after Kennedy and Kennedy's head shot came from the front right-side, not from the rear (TSDB).

My theory is that a whistleblower gave Geraldo Rivera a copy of the Zapruder film because he wanted the public to know that the Warren Commission was a sham.

Yes, Oswald owned the rifle found on the sixth floor of the TSDB.

However, the the US Army and FBI testified to the Warren Commission that Oswald's rifle was not in usable condition in its original state and most likely the weapon was not used in the assassination. You can read their testimony here:

The Warren Commission concluded that Oswald shot Officer Tippet, but neither the FBI nor the Dallas police came to that conclusion. Tippet's murder is an unsolved mystery.

The pistol that was found on Oswald when he was arrested was unserviceable (Oswald wasn't good at maintaining his weapons). The FBI laboratory stated that Oswald’s pistol was defective: “the firing pin would not strike … the cartridges with sufficient force to fire them” (Jevons to Conrad, 12 February 1964, FBI HQ JFK Assassination File, 62–109060–916).

I don't have any doubts that Oswald was involved in the assassination plot. According to James Files' interview with Robert Vernon, Files stated that Oswald's duty was to "plant evidence to mislead everybody," not to shoot.
