I’d rather see good old American fireworks instead of dancing red Chinese AI robots.
Fireworks were invented by China. Drones were invented by USA.
Just wow! Amazing! Thank you so much for posting this! I’m blown away (and bit teary eyed, but the good kind).
And there’s a deeper message here: drones being used to create beauty in celebration instead of used in warfare, an embodiment of the Christmas message. I pray that someday this is the only way we will feel the need to use them.

These drone shows are incredible. I can’t imagine the complexity of the software and the control systems that keep everything organized and running.
The best part was the huge globe of the world opening in the middle to show Coke, ESPN, Goodyear, Toyota and then an enormous sign of the People’s Republic of China with the effigy of Xi and examples of millions of the world’s people bowing to him.
Spectacular.
A truly impressive display but I’m growing more and more aware of the magnificence of Christmas displays, and the growing technological and flashy advances in magnificent displays based on Christmas, while Christmas itself, Christ himself, disappears from all the glitz and beautiful wonderment of Christmas lights and beautiful spectacularism.
We need to start working on making sure that along with the Santa and reindeer fun, that we make Christ and his birth and his purpose, be the reason for Christmas, we can’t let them erase Christmas and replace it with simply a secular winter celebration with pretty lights and Santa Claus suits and snow and chimneys.
I have read the first Christmas had a fairly spectacular show as well. The audience was limited though to sheep and their shepherds though.

It’s a nice thought, but I’m afraid once they do that, we’ll wish they hadn’t. I can imagine Joel Olsteen’s church using drones to put on a tacky Nativity scene.

The audience is the world’s Christians for thousands of years.
I want them to spell out words. Such as : “There is no god named Allah and Mohammed is his false prophet” and place it over Mecca. preferably during the Haj.
