I was smitten with the Space Age. I followed the NASA missions closely. Spock was an example of what I believed in. ‘ 2001 A Space Odyssey ‘ had a profound effect on me . At age 8 I truly thought that was the future to be. What a disappointment the real 2001 turned out to be.
