I have not said that harming a police dog is ‘the same’ as harming a human officer, and I’m not aware that such is considered as ‘law’ anywhere.

I was just alluding to the fact that K-9s in police departments are often considered fellow ‘officers’ by the people who work with them. Military dogs are often thought of similarly.

Find the right lib judge, and you can probably get harsher sentences for harming police dogs than for harming children.

I wonder how many people do more time for killing a police dog than they would for manslaughter.
