I just realized that my life is incomplete without an M1928A1 Thompson SMG.
This is terrible…

I’ll wait ‘til someone comes up with the .47 MAGA and an AR platform chambered for it. I’m thinking a necked down .50 Beowolf. Should use the same mags and bolt carrier group. Just need a new bbl.

As much as I appreciate the modern…
It STILL doesn’t put one of these puppies in me hands…
Sigh.

Until you have to reload it. Or carry it further than a few yards.
I much prefer the M1 Thompson. Lighter, simpler, mags are easier to deal with, etc. I rented both to see which I liked better and I’ll fully admit that when it comes to sex appeal, the Chicago typewriter crushes it.
If I had to choose one to lug around the Pacific where every rock or tree has a jap behind it trying to stab me, I want the M1A1 all day every day, any day.

The M1A1 looks… industrial…
The’28 is classy.
But I’d take either one
