So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights
“The oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light”
Now there's no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet, axe, and saw

Some entertainer is considered a more significant historical figure than Karl Marx?

To: Verginius Rufus
The other guy did a lot less damage to the world than the lowly Karl Marx.

Dungavell said that the transformation plans, which were submitted to Camden Council for permission on Monday, were needed to ‘preserve this fantastic heritage asset, and make sure that it is a benefit to the community. ‘Karl Marx would be happy. Our charity is bringing people together to look after a community asset,’ he added. ‘The money is redistributed and looked after the whole cemetery for the public benefit.’ Are you quite sure this isn't satire?

If the tree falls on George Michael’s grave, and nobody hears it, will it still go “Wham!” ?

I’m not seeing how a falling tree would disturb a grave. Just cut the tree up and haul it away.
So this looks to me like just another money grab. Quick, approve this £18,000,000 request or many terrible, tree-related things will happen!

Not more significant ... in the final analysis no more significant ... or perchance “without significance” is better....

It’s impossible to have respect or reverence for Karl Marx if you’re not mind controlled.

Proof even trees die faster due to communism.

    Move them to Martha’s Vineyard.

Tree fall often pull roots from groun which could expose coffins/remains.
I have a similar situatio in an old pioneer cemetery not maintained by anyone. Cemetery located inside my property lines but dont believe technically my property. Many burial sites like this in rural America dating from the early 1800s

I remember hearing he was dead. I just can’t remember if it was from food poisoning.

The Karl Marx gravesite is a popular tourist attraction (or pilgrimage destination).
 Keeping it looking nice is just good old fashioned local boosterism. { smirk }

I suppose a tree hitting a monument/headstone could cause some pretty good damage.
