A powerful magnitude 7.3 earthquake struck just off the coast of Vanuatu on Tuesday, causing widespread destruction in the South Pacific island nation as the injured began arriving at a hospital and unconfirmed reports of casualties emerged.

A tsunami warning was called off less than two hours after the quake. With communications still down hours later and official information scarce, witness accounts of casualties began to surface on social media and through patchy phone calls.

The earthquake happened at just before 1 p.m. at a depth of 57 kilometers (35 miles) and was centered 30 kilometers west of Port Vila, the largest city in Vanuatu — a group of 80 islands that is home to about 330,000 people. It was followed by a magnitude 5.5 aftershock near the same location, with tremors continuing throughout the afternoon and evening.

Vanuatu is the country that has been suing the U.N. for decades to get “reparations” from those evil “global-warming” countries causing the massive sea level rise that is wiping out Vanuatu.

Problem for them is, the data actually shows the sea level HASN’T RISEN EVEN AN INCH in the last 30 years.

Watch Joe Biden send them billions in aid and assistance, while Appalachia is still struggling.

By what year did Al Gore predict that Vanuatu would be under water due to Global Warming?

ChatGPT said:

Al Gore predicted that Vanuatu, along with other low-lying island nations, could be submerged by rising sea levels due to global warming by the year 2030. This prediction was made in his 2006 documentary An Inconvenient Truth, where he highlighted the potential consequences of climate change on vulnerable coastal areas and islands, especially those in the Pacific.

They are yelling for Global Warming monies, but their very own volcano is their real problem.

Well, islands do not sink. Perhaps he said the island would eventually be under water by virtue of oceans rising. Islands also do not capsize either. 🤣

Now I suppose it is possible for pieces of islands breaking loose and falling into the ocean, and that might happen, but it would take a while for that to occur. It would not be an overnight event for the entire island. I would venture to guess that a minute amount may have done just that from the earthquake, if the island has a fault line next to the ocean . 😋

That island sits right on the edge of a tectonic plate out there. Bad place to be. I feel for the folks out there. God have mercy and please help them.
