By what year did Al Gore predict that Vanuatu would be under water due to Global Warming?

Al Gore predicted that Vanuatu, along with other low-lying island nations, could be submerged by rising sea levels due to global warming by the year 2030. This prediction was made in his 2006 documentary An Inconvenient Truth, where he highlighted the potential consequences of climate change on vulnerable coastal areas and islands, especially those in the Pacific.

They are yelling for Global Warming monies, but their very own volcano is their real problem.

Well, islands do not sink. Perhaps he said the island would eventually be under water by virtue of oceans rising. Islands also do not capsize either. 🤣

Now I suppose it is possible for pieces of islands breaking loose and falling into the ocean, and that might happen, but it would take a while for that to occur. It would not be an overnight event for the entire island. I would venture to guess that a minute amount may have done just that from the earthquake, if the island has a fault line next to the ocean . 😋
