He’s still upset over Kamelala getting her Jamaican butt kicked.

You didn’t see Bird or Magic or MJ do this. One more reason why he’s not the GOAT.

I did see Bird one time. He was getting a VIP tour of the Vertical Assembly Building at Kennedy Space Center. I said ‘Hey Larry!’. He waved.

They didn’t change the rules to favor Wilt Chamberlain, who was a far greater player than LeWhine. In fact, they changed them to make it less effective at scoring, defending or rebounding.
Under new rules, no zone defense, you can take 3 or 4 steps on the way to the basket, you can pick up the dribble, palm the ball, and charging is not called on Lewhine.
Basketball is more akin to tennis now, back and forth and back and forth. It is so exciting, that it bores me.

Professional athletes don’t quit work because their doing poorly. Every single one has had ups-downs in their performance. Also can’t get rid of the yips by sunbathing.
I do not believe, at all, a mid-season hiatus has anything to do with a few bad games.

Interesting that LeBron takes a leave right in the middle of the Diddy and Jay Z situation. Many celebrities have left the country recently. The timing is sure worth noting. Will be following this one closely.

There is a school of speculation that a whole lot of people are going to get all blowed up. LeBron’s name has come up in the discussion.

Bird retired at 35. Magic retired at 32. Jordan retired at 40 as a Washington Wizard.
I am not saying that James is a GOAT, only that 40 is pretty darn old for an NBA player, and things wear.

Steps away? Lebron usually takes most of his steps when on the court holding a basketball.

I don’t consider LeBron the G.O.A.T. either.
Those you mentioned their own issues and none lasted until 40
Byrd retired at 35 because of injuries.
Magic was 36 - he took off 4 seasons because of HIV
Jordon was 39 - he retired twice for a total of 4 years.
