The Eastern European country of Romania was in shock after the first round of its Presidential elections in late November as independent, rightwing candidate, Călin Georgescu, a Euroskeptic who has called the United Nations ‘satanic’ came out as the big winner.
Almost as shocking was the fact that the Prime Minister, a leftist-globalist-euro-fanatic candidate, whom all opinion polls called the favorite, came in third and was out of the race.
(snip)
The Romanian Constitutional Court cancelled the first round of presidential elections a mere days before the second round, which was to take place earlier this month.
The court , blamed Russia of interfering with the election on social media. Does that sound familiar?

Mike Benz: That if the Russia-neutral party, which just won the election in Romania, takes power, that party which campaigned on ending all support for Ukraine in the war against Russia. That would massively cripple NATO’s ability to carry out a successful campaign on behalf of Ukraine, because Romania is the main weapons trans-shipment point from all CIA and UK arms that are warehoused in Pakistan.
(snip)
What they’ve done here is something that was attempted to be done here in the US in 2016. If folks remember, Norm Eisen and the legal hatchet blob team in 2016 tried to get members of Congress to annul the election results on January 6th, 2017, by arguing that Russia had interfered on US social media.

My question is, who at the State Department, who at USAID, who at the National Endowment for Democracy, leaned on the Romanian Court to make this happen?

The above is what is particularly vile about the Uniparty types--they are more than happy to thwart the self dtermination of the people when it interferes with the Uniparty's pet projects, rather than stepping back and consider maybe things need to go a different way.
At a certain point, that situation becomes tenuous as the Uniparty is governing in direct opposition to the will of the governed. (Interestingly, a certain person in the country mentioned in the article discovered one end to that in December of 1989).
Benz asks the right question imho--find the answer to that, and that points to where the REAL problem needs to be 'resolved'.
And there is a contingent posting here who are aligned with the idea of overriding the people, whether willingly , mere trolling, or out of a set of misguided premises.
Winning candidate? I thought it was cancelled. 🤔
The USAID was the CIA replacement for the Peace Corps. When Congress tried to make the Peace Corps CIA free, they repalced it with USAID, which now like other CIA operations are being rolled up into it’s sister agency as a part of State... PAO, USAID, FBI/LEGAT and every other federal agency or office might be present abroad. The State Department needs to separated from the CIA and the Marxists cleansed form our midst.
How do Romanians feel about being so obviously cucked by NATO and
Brussels?
The Romanian people have dealt with tyranny like this not too long ago. Perhaps these officials should take a second and read the recent history books.

What a great day that was! I have friends who lived in Romania during Ceausescu’s reign, and they told me all the horror stories about living there.
Of course, that's why GloboHomoPedoNazi canceled their "Democratic" "Election", and CIA is spinning up the Assassin Squads.
It's Business As Usual.
“Winning candidate? I thought it was cancelled.”
That was the first round. The second round was the runoff, but since the first round results weren’t approved by the Neocons, the Neocons simply had their judges in Romania nullify the entire election, and, I guess, give the people another chance to ‘vote properly’.
But they have to save democracy.[/sarcasm]
And, it's another example of us being guilty of everything we accuse Russia or China of doing.
So, it's not even arguable Georgescu would have won the election.
There's simply no way they would ever trade that for better relations with Moscow.
The pro-Russian candidate tried to organize a big demo in Bucharest, but only a couple hundred people showed up, which strongly suggests the vote was in fact manipulated.
The EUSSR is a totalitarian dictatorship who requires its subjects to surrender their sovereignty.
Romania would be wise to dump the EUSSR. The US, UK and the EUSSR should be ashamed for this blatant election interference.
Romania unfortunately had a choice between a corrupt oligarchic native regime or compromising sovereignty and having a comparatively non-corrupt set of rules imposed on them by the EU. They chose the latter.
what a nonsense statement. What are you trying prove exactly?
Second, Europeans are far more tolerant of what would be perceived as despotism than Americans. Any government that doesn't have concentration camps, thousands of political prisoners and executions and which doesn't leave them totally impoverished while being moderately responsive to democratic pressure is seen as a vast improvement. Americans are very spoiled.
Third, the notion that the CIA or USAID was somehow behind the annulment is absurd. Local elites are perfectly capable of suppressing any "populist excesses" as they see it without any US assistance. They can be suppressed using "lawfare" as in this case or by having political parties banned or just by having parliamentary majorities shun any participation by smaller protest parties. Europeans have "managed" democracy. We do not.
You love showing your bias - insist on calling him “pro-Russian” right off the bat
“Americans are very spoiled.”
Here we have it again. Like I’ve said several times before. We’ve gone all around the world saving other countries for over a hundred years now. What do we get back from those we saved? This, backstabbing and sneering insults.
This is partly true of all English-speaking countries: English has had to borrow words from other languages to describe political pathologies that do not exist in the English-speaking world, like "putsch" "coup" and "junta." Although we are, sadly, becoming better acquainted with them.
