Watching the MNF game now and when seeing the Dallas QB Rush, it keeps hitting me that I miss El Rushbo
May he be RIP....
I remember his first show IIRC it was August 1, 1988. I rarely missed a show during his thirty plus year career. Many a time I’d hear something on the news and wonder “What will Rush have to say about this?” There are a lot of great radio announcers out there, but none of them compare to El Rushbo.
Ditto.
His ability to grasp the left's motivations for what they do and his analysis on politics in general was excellent. I miss him too.
Then there was his annual radiothon for leukempia which he also matched with his own monies.
And the list goes on and likely other charity which he never mentioned.
I tried to listen to Rush's replacements, Bray and Cluck, but that lasted for a month or two.
Those amateurs are only interested in hearing themselves talk whereas Rush engaged callers in back and forth conversation (his greatest strength, in my opinion).
Me too
Who knows? Perhaps Rush would now be denouncing Fauci and calling for the dismantling of the FBI.
Thank you SO MUCH for the Rush Limbaugh video link. I looked at the videos list and saw a PLETHORA of old Rush videos! :-) Brought back GREAT memories. Thanks and FReegards, friend.
He spoiled me big time. I have not been satisfied with anyone enough to tune into them more than a dozen times. since he left us I have a huge void...
Couldn’t wait until Rush was on, especially when there was something outrageous happening in the political world. Rush would put it in perspective and give hope. (proud to be a two time caller).
FReegards! And have a Merry Christmas!
Thank you for this thread; I had never heard of Michael Berry before, but darn sure like what I’ve heard in a single episode.
Thanx to the Freeper’s who mentioned Michael Berry.
When Rush passed we lost a voice. This guy is going to be strong voice for what America can and should be for a long time to come.
The Cowboys and Bengals are two of my favorite teams... as a Bengals fan I had turned off the NFL after Broken-Knee, and they the Taylor-Swift-Yellow-Flag Superbowl run. Bengals in the toilet this year, the front office needs a professional makeover and now some DRAFT-DAY-MOVIE operation; Brown family should have never owned two teams in same bracket and state, but OH-IO was the epicenter of early Football and landed the MLB and NFL Halls. Heck they even got Pete Rose’s shire;) Good luck to Dallas and Cinci next year; maybe they will meet in the SB in 2-3 years.
Rush was one of a kind and I haven’t found any conservative talk show hosts that come close to filling his shoes. Rush combined a sharp intellect with a wry sense of humor that made those dark Obama days bearable. Rush was very charitable and generously supported many very worthy causes. He made the world a better place. Rest in peace el Rushbo.
12 to 3pm daily, the Maharishi made my day.
Trump had a friend in Rush from the very beginning. One of the first to get on Trump’s bandwagon.
I still have a framed copy of that letter, on the wall. I look forward to more of the signatories assuming room temperature.
My companion on the ride to work in the mornings.

Rush with Punkin
Brings tears to my eyes.......
Can you get Berry on iHeart radio?
How is the Bengals’ defense? Thanks
