“Didn’t Russia abandon Syria?”
Russia probably prefers dealing with Iran - more money, fewer dangerous internal problems.

It’s also key for pipelines and part of the longer-term “Greater Israel” plan.

Theophilus :" Didn’t Russia abandon Syria? "
According to recent information, Russia left Syria,
however, they have apparently made a recent agreement with the incoming rebel band
which guaranteed protection of the Russian naval base and the airfield
So the situation is a definite.. maybe (?).

There's way to many war boners waving around.
Syria is not WWIII. When the real WWIII happens, you won't be discussing it on FR, or anywhere else for that matter.

“There’s way to many war boners waving around.”
That could leave the wrong mental image.
