Former US president Bill Clinton on Wednesday said young people in America today "can't believe" that late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat walked away from a Palestinian state during peace negotiations with Israel under his mediation as president...
"All [young people in America] know that a lot more Palestinians have been killed than Israelis. And I tell them what Arafat walked away from, and they, like, can't believe it," said the former commander-in-chief.
Arafat "walked away from a Palestinian state, with a capital in East Jerusalem, 96% of the West Bank, 4% of Israel to make up for the 4% [of the West Bank to be annexed for Israeli settlements]," Clinton elaborated, repeating an account of the Oslo peace negotiations, to which the ex-president has returned repeatedly in recent interviews and remarks...

Because a Palestinian state was and is NOT the goal of Palestinians, the destruction of Israel has always been the goal. Arafat knew he would be assassinated for going along with getting a state.
And Arafat was a boy buggerer.
Because Arafat was against it, doesn’t mean the grass root people would be. America at its peak should have give the nod to given them part of Jordan, or another piece of land. Even the lands of the West Bank or Gaza. Everyone deserves a place to call their own. It is time that Israel, becomes this Is real.
Maybe they should quit taking hostages.
“ There was more money in The Struggle”
Unfortunately, that’s what drives most of this. The “leadership” gets rich while everyone else gets killed or left homeless. Imagine the graft that will come with the $billions necessary to rebuild Gaza. Those leaders of Hamas that resided in Qatar were all reportedly billionaires . Wonder how they acquired it all.
They’ve never wanted a Palestinian state. It’s always been “from the river to the sea” and not a square foot less.
IIRC, The main reason he walked away from the offer was that the Palestinians had to accept the right of Israel to exist.
That's why he went to France for hospice care. Hospice care for AIDS in Arabia is a 7.62x35 Tokarev in the brain pan.
