Donald Trump Jr. suggested that his father, President-elect Donald Trump, would boot legacy media out of the White House briefing room in favor of podcasters.
“We had the conversation,” he said, “about opening up the press room to a lot of these independent journalists. … Why not open it up to people who have larger viewerships, stronger followings?”
He said the idea of switching out mainstream media outlets for podcasters like Joe Rogan “may be in the works.”

Day 1, Trump should have a press conference with ONLY selected podcasters like Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, James O’Keefe, etc.
Then put the legacy media on notice that their access and seating will be at the discretion of his press secretary.
Rogan, Tim Pool, Shapiro, Tucker...
Imagine these guys next to the alphabet news critters.
Just allow them to attend and ask questions. Isn’t a free press guaranteed under the first amendment? It doesn’t decide who or who should not report.
That would throw the legacy media for a loop. The first media I would get rid of is the AssPress and Al Reuters.

That should change. I think the press group operates as a cartel, where any attempt by a Republican to take control would trigger a walkout by all the MSM.
Well, Trump can respond to a walkout with a lockout, ejecting ALL the leftist broadcast people and replacing them all with internet podcasters.
Joe Rogan is to this century what Rush Limbaugh was to the previous one.

If the media cartel controls the press room, just move the press conferences. Hold them in a ballroom or set a tent up on the white house lawn. Then make it an by invitation affair only. Throw out any who become rude jerks.

Some people seem to think the legacy media has some sort of legal right to choose who is to be in the WH press room....its a new day and they don’t.....after the nefarious evil obama and taterhead are responsible for changing this paradigm is microscopic.
That’s what I want to see! I even posted to the Sunday News Show thread here about wanting/foreseeing a day in the future that a thread about Sunday/etc. Podcast shows as a round up of news and opinion. We’ll see.
Alternate the spots out.....Heck, given the coming takeover of the formerly MSM only news promulgation, I’d say give them HALF the seats. They can even set it up where the questions get zoomed in or something.
