Donald Trump Jr. suggested that his father, President-elect Donald Trump, would boot legacy media out of the White House briefing room in favor of podcasters.
“We had the conversation,” he said, “about opening up the press room to a lot of these independent journalists. … Why not open it up to people who have larger viewerships, stronger followings?”
He said the idea of switching out mainstream media outlets for podcasters like Joe Rogan “may be in the works.”

It would be even better if, they had the top 6-10 rated outlets with maybe one rotating international person. That were able to ask questions.
And then give out X number non speaking gallery seats to the second tier outlets.
How awesome would it be for the Jim Acosta/ K Collins types, to be there and not be allowed to ask questions?
Brilliant. And then when the next Demonrat Admin, whenever that horror occurs, can be ridiculed for not allowing them to attend.

He should BAN every News Agency that pushed the Russian Collusion Conspiracy, for they were ACTIVE CO-CONSPIRATORS.
The difference is a lot of the podcasters probably like being their own boss. Even though they all have to abide by the rules of YouTube OR their podcast will get shadow banned.
