But the left hates Walmart and refuses to shop there, so why do they care?

I suspect prices will indeed rise. That’s a bad thing for struggle families in the Biden economy. Overall though Walmart will find new sources and likely they will be American made. When Sam was alive I think he prided himself in selling mostly American made stuff. That all changed to selling mostly Chinese stuff to fund the Chinese Communists.
We will have to go through a change back to US made and that will be painful for many. But if we don’t we will be doomed.

How do these economic ignorance’s ever get time on T.V. Absolute barbara streisand. There’s too much to explain about how economics and pricing works. Suffice it to say, NO prices won’t increase any where close to that percentage. Prices will likely decrease if “say” the price of diesel fuel goes down.

These "journalists" are fools. Bought some work clothing from Walmart, made in Bangladesh. Others from Vietnam. Some green groceries from -- oh gosh -- here in South Carolina. Went to Aldi. Bought some products from Germany, and we don't buy Chinese beer ever.... Went to Trader Joe's, and got some French and Italian wines, which surprisingly were not Chinese.
Any wonder the CNN audience withers?

so stock up on your favorite Chinese goods ,LOL

The China News Network is scared to death that President Trump is going to lay the wood to our enemies in China. If Walmart prices skyrocket, shop somewhere else. Most people in this country usually whine all the time about Walmart selling everything from China. If it says Made in China on it, DON’T BUY IT! That will cut down on how many tariffs our enemies have to pay so we can buy their crap.

There was a time, as I recall, when NOTHING, NOTHING was sold at Walmart that was made outside of the USA.
Walmart now sells mediocrity.
Yeah, short term prices go up, but there are not tariffs if the item is made somewhere else.
These idiots don’t get it. China is killing us.
But lets say that Trump gets rid of our income taxes, since we’re taken in enough money and along with costs cutting.

and they will ultimately close their doors unless they make internal adjustments.
We've already learned to buy cheap China crap over the internet, so . . . . .

Maybe Walmart products will have to move their manufacturing back to the US
that took 2 seconds to figure out...

My brother called yesterday (he’s a democrat) and said he heard Trump was increasing tarriffs on China to 100%.
There is an ABC article on this, I guess that’s the plan.
I told him to wait and see how it all goes.
