The hosts of ABC’s The View were forced to issue four “legal notes” in one episode regarding comments they made about several of President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet picks.
Co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Joy Behar were forced to issue legal notes after comments made during an episode on Friday about allegations surrounding former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), who was Trump’s pick for attorney general before he withdrew his name from consideration; Fox News host Pete Hegseth, who Trump picked to serve as his secretary of defense; and Pam Bondi, who Trump selected to serve as attorney general.
The View co-hosts also issued a legal note over comments made about former New York Republican Rep. George Santos, according to the New York Post.
The legal notes made during the episode came after comments made by co-hosts Ana Navarro, Sara Haines, former Trump administration official Alyssa Farah Griffin, Hostin, and Behar.

Alex Jones got sued for 1.5 billion. Rudy Giuliani got sued by two accused of pulling ballots out in the middle of the night in 2020.
Just the thought of those harpies choking on their own bile every day as they rage about Trump being president makes me smile.
If you got that many warnings at any company I worked for, you were shown the door. What is going on here?
Anyway, ABC should put this notice up at the beginning of every ‘The View’:
I agree. It’s a strategy. They feel they can say anything at all. Actionable in court? Oh no! We read a legal notice! We’re OK now. And here we go again — saying more stuff that might be actionable in court! But wait! Here is another legal notice! So we’re OK again!
It’s more Kabuki.
I don’t know how anyone with an IQ above 60 can watch this crap.
I would normally agree, problem is the network is fine with it.......you see, the head of ABC is kamala harris best friend.......make sense now?
Interesting that suddenly, ABC is concerned about what might be slander/libel being spewed on their airwaves. They didn’t seem too concerned when it was the Dementia/Heels Up DOJ. Now that there will be a Trump/Vance DOJ come January, they seem quite a bit more worried, almost as if they think someone will actually DO something about it.
The View could simply start with the following disclaimer
“This is a work of fiction. Unless otherwise indicated, all the names, characters, businesses, places, events and incidents in this show are either the product of the hosts imagination or used in a fictitious manner”
In addition, the requirement to constantly read legal disclaimers after they mouth off on TV must irritate their egos mightily. Maybe enough to quit. Out goes a 7-figure contract, and no termination for cause and subsequent lawsuit required!

I suppose the concern might be related to the new DOJ but it seems there is something else going on here with this.
Her big mouth got her big butt in heap big trouble. ROTFL!
This could become everyday if NYT V. Sullivan is reversed.
Every TV show have to police themselves against defamation. Then people that value their character could enter the political world without fear of having their character destroyed simply for entering a race.
BINGO! They say the LIES AND THEN READ A STUPID STATEMENT!
A couple of things:
It’s ABC, and just like NBC, and CBS, not the people who tell the truth. They are there to sell a product, not get an award for a documentary. If you are going to demand they tell the truth totally, then all the late night talk show hosts, and people like Howard Stern, Ronna McDaniel, Kristen Welker, Nicolle Wallace, and the use of television sitcoms(?) have become political mouthpieces and generate a lot of backwoods politics to an entertaiment starved audience. And the sway of “news” shows coming from organizations like CNN, CNBC, and others like Adult Swim, Comedy Central, MSNBC and even Comedy Central from one direction and FOX from another tend to stretch the truth for sensationalism on a regular basis sometimes leaning to outright lies. Like Richard Dawson said in “Running Man,” it’s all about the ratings.

I hope it doesn’t make a difference and those affected by these demons’ lies can still pursue legal action.
I think it is a preplanned ploy by them at this point to just get out what they want to say which is why they have the legal releases ready to go.
Bet their ratings is in the toilet.
As stupid and unhinged as these women are, they must be infinitely smarter and more stable than their audience.
They need some new blood for that sht show...
