Amen...
I was out there last week. Crazy with all the fencing and grandstands along the main roads. Traffic was a mess. Our few local Uber/Lyft drivers absolutely hated the event.
Thank you brother!!
Cool track!
It’s gonna be chilly in Vegas in November.
welcome...
makes for good horsepower... 8^)
Headed there shortly. Let’s hope they took care of the manhole covers this year!
A lot better than the race in Ceasar’s Palace parking lot, the low point of F1 as far as racing venues IMO.
Hey now...I LIKE Heinekin - but it’s probably because I liked skunkweed way back when music was excellent.
What’s the average speed for F-1 now? Do they put limiters on them like NASCAR? Does anyone run crying for a Safe Space upon seeing a looped garage pull?
“Headed there shortly. Let’s hope they took care of the manhole covers this year!”
AMEN to that!
My neighbor saw The Eagles in the Sphere last month - said it was surreal.
I’m not a big LV fan, having been in the gaming machine business for several years, but I do understand that folks have fun there.
Thanks for the new thread, chode!
It’s amazing how fast the cars are that they can rip the covers up going over them-
Hamboi is a near clone of Bubba Wallace- both have degraded car sports with their incessant racism and lgbtq inclusion (to the ex.clusion of non lgbtq) demands. F-1 isn’t quite as woke as Nascar yet, but hamboi and ilk are pushing for it to become so-
Lap Record

How can that be since last year was the first race?
“It’s amazing how fast the cars are that they can rip the covers up going over them-...”
It’s not the speed, it’s ‘downforce’ — think suction...
These vehicles have wings that ‘push the vehicle down’ while the aero-bits under the vehicle are speeding up the airflow under the vehicle like an upside down wing, thus creating the opposite of lift...
IIRC the water cover that came up was welded but not well enough!

So, it appears to be a night race. I can’t remember last year.
I wonder if the cover hits the underside of the car? If so, must be a heck of a jolt given that it can rip up welded covers like it did
It literally destroyed Charles LsClair’s Ferrari (and he got a penalty for it as well!). I believe the rule has changed...
