All the predictions by the experts (and the Russians) of a quick defeat of Ukraine have been WRONG. As a result Putin has egg on his face and everyone knows his military is a joke.

Some could say the same about the US when looking at Iraq and Afghanistan. We could have easily leveled Baghdad and Kabul but chose not to. Russia could do the same to Kiev.

It’s not his military people need to worry about. To prevent a full scale nuclear war I would prefer to see the Russians use all available force to crush Ukraine right now.

Russia hasn’t won a war on their own for more than 100 years.

And they are getting beaten up by a bunch of farmers.

There is no doubt that Russians themselves were very optimistic about a quick victory in Ukraine.
Here are some quotes at the time:

1. Andrei Fedorov, a former Russian deputy foreign minister, told Al Jazeera on February 27, 2022, that President Vladimir Putin's initial order was to
   "complete the military operation with a victory by March 2"

   There is your "three day victory".

2. Sergei Shoigu, Russia's Defense Minister, assured President Putin on March 11, 2022, that
   "everything is going to plan" and that the operation was proceeding as expected.

3. Avril Haines, the director of U.S. national intelligence, reported during a hearing on March 8, 2022:

   “Moscow underestimated the strength of Ukraine’s resistance and the degree of internal military challenges we are observing, which include an ill-considered plan, morale issues, and considerable logistical issues,” she said.

4. Australian retired major general Mick Ryan, expert on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, said Russia was confident of a swift victory.
   "They thought they could fight it fast, cheap and easy, and [conquer] Kyiv within days," Mr Ryan told SBS News. -- March 31,2022

5. Russian propagandist, "Iron Lady" Olga Skabeyeva (April 2022):
   "The Ukrainians are crumbling in front of our eyes.
   The Ukrainian army is falling apart."
   "We're forced to conduct the demilitarization not only of Ukraine, but of the entire NATO alliance."

6. Russian propagandist Margarita Simonyan (March 2023):
   "We defeated Ukraine in the first two or three days.
   Then a war with NATO started"

All of us with actual experience and in the know past the media know Russia has shown great restraint. What alarms us is that people don’t realize that and think they can just keep pushing. I guess most won’t be happy until the see the warheads coming, or if they’re lucky they’ll only have to send their kids to their deaths. The war cry can be “for the glory of the NWO!” you’re all being played by your own and either too daft to see or don’t want to because you can’t admit you were lied to and it would ruin your worldview and the entire history as you were programmed to believe.
