Nicole Scherzinger, currently starring in Broadway’s new production of “Sunset Blvd.,” drew criticism on social media Thursday evening after she posted a positive comment on Instagram, beaming at a post by Russell Brand in which he flashes a red hat reading “Make Jesus First Again.” Posted in the hours ahead of the U.S. presidential election, Brand captioned the post “God Bless America.”
“Where do I get this hat?” Scherzinger wrote in a now-deleted comment, alongside a prayer hands emoji and a red heart emoji.
Many fans took offense to Scherzinger’s positive sentiment toward iconography associated with Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan and signature red hat campaign wardrobe, just a day after the Republican nominee defeated Kamala Harris in the presidential election.

Scherzinger, whose star rose as a member of The Pussycat Dolls through the 2000s, has earned raves for her performance as has-been Hollywood legend Norma Desmond in director Jamie Lloyd’s Broadway production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Sunset Boulevard.”

We must obey God rather than men!
Even an oblique positive sentiment towards Trump or in the more direct case here towards Jesus draws flak. That’s the totalitarian mind at work.
So? Why should the opinions of a few lefties matter?
It’s time to stop giving the Left the “Heckler’s Veto”.
Do they even know Make America Great Again was first used by the Clintons?
“...positive sentiment toward iconography associated with Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan...”
I would think the case could be made that the “MJFA” hat is in direct opposition to Trump’s hat. Could be worn by liberal church-goers everywhere. Although then they might have to answer questions pertaining to how does Jesus think about killing the unborn and trying to change the gender of children.
Scherzinger's reply to the controversy explains a lot to this end:
“When I commented on these posts, I made the mistake of not realizing they could easily be interpreted as being politically related and I apologize to anyone who understandably reached that conclusion.”
She continued: “Many presumptions are being drawn, which do not reflect who I am, what I stand for, or who I voted for.
“Many of the marginalized communities feeling hurt and concerned by the results of the presidential election are people I care about most. I stand with them, as I always have, throughout my life and career. If you know me, you know that.”
Many people there are that might claim to love Jesus, but it is often a Jesus of their own making they love, not the Jesus of the Sacred Scriptures.
Not really relevant to this incident, but here she is singing “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina”. I like her version very much because I think it reveals the utter insincerity and clever manipulation of the song while still tugging at the heart making us think that maybe that Fascist Eva Peron wasn’t so bad. For me, it’s the evil of politics all in one song.

Leftists are such obsessive shyt heads. They just can’t leave anyone alone.
If there liberal church goers then they probably believe in the progressive movement and not Jesus.
See tagline.
Broken clock, twice a day, yada yada.
CC
ignore them nicole- Trump won, and we can all relax now and sit back and watch with humor the left screaming, stomping their feet, and making asinine demands- Don’t let their negativity ruin your day- Trump won= We are good for 4 years!
She once was the “beard” of F1’s “closeted” Lewis Hamilton.
Now deleted post. So nothing.
