Now, at a live event in North Carolina on October 4, President Trump promised that after he wins the election, not only will he establish a Task Force assigned to eradicate DEI in the military, but he promises to appoint Matthew Lohmeier to the Task Force.
Isn’t this something that would be within the purview of the new SecDef.
Hope Trump can attend The Army-Navy Game this year, especially if Army is unbeaten. (Beat Notre Dame!)
Fantastic! A “warrior board” — love it. IN YOUR FACE, woke libs!! No room for you in the modern military. They are reviving their mission of destroying the enemy with the best recruits possible based on merit, not woke and DEI crap.
I am for this 100%. I would start by purging all generals who received their stars under the nomination of Obama, and then go from there.

Good luck to them on this task. The officers’ ranks are full of monkeys who wouldn’t be there in a sane world, and they’re not going to go quietly or easily.
It’s going to take every day of a four year term to get some positive waves going through the forces.

Perhaps the President is setting up this review board to pass judgment on the general officers that the new SecDef identifies as problematic.
Nope. Flag officers serve at the pleasure of the President. They can be retired at any time.
Nope. Someone has to determine who these generals and admirals are before the president can take action. That’s the SecDef. That’s why Trump picked Pete Hegseth. He knows the landscape.
As a retired Army Field Grade Officer, I love this. The process should be showing great promise by the time the Army celebrates it’s 250th birthday in June and the Marines in November. Trump presiding over those celebrations will be wonderful to see!
Hope he goes deeper in the officer Corp and includes senior nco’s.
