MARTINSBURGH, VA., Friday, NOV. 11, 1864 -- 9 P.M.
Last night and to-day there has been general rejoicing in all parts of the army over the reelection of Mr. LINCOLN. I do not mean by this that there has been any organized arrangement to celebrate the occasion, but as the result was communicated by individuals to different commands, the greatest satisfaction was manifested. Indeed I believe a majority of those in the army who voted for Gen. MCCLELLAN, had no real desire to see him elected upon the Chicago Platform.
The enemy, ever on the alert, this morning crawled up with a cavalry force to feel our new line, and the result was, of course, some skirmishing. But there is evidently no large body of men in our immediate front.
News of the safety of Capt. BREWSTER, Commissary Third Cavalry Division, reached here this evening. He is in close proximity to our lines -- so near, indeed, that he sent a note to the officer commanding Second Cavalry Division, and ere this, doubtless, arrangements have been made to bring him in. It is not known whether Capt. BREWSTER escaped from MOSBY's men after the drawing at Rectorstown, or whether MOSBY, in one of his generous freaks, liberated him. Some of the men who were present when the Captain started on his march to Richmond, report that they heard rebel officers express the opinion that he would be let off.
In a recent reconnaissance up the Luray Valley by Gen. POWELL, with the Second Cavalry Division, all the stock remaining in that valley was driven in, thus cutting off the last link between EARLY and the Free States.

I got to visit Andersonville POW camp ... it also has a POW museum depicting all POW camps in different wars the US has been in. Also got a neat T-shirt from there.
