A teenage girl was almost choked to death outside her school in an alleged 'honor killing' by her parents after she refused an arranged marriage.
Ihsan Ali, 44, and his wife Zahraa Subhi Mohsin Ali, 40, were charged with attempted murder and attempted kidnapping after their arrest on October 18.
Shocking video allegedly showed the father on the ground with his daughter on top of him as he choked her.
The girl, 17, who wasn't named, ran away from home to Timberline High School in Lacey, Washington, where her 16-year-old boyfriend also studied, after her parents tried to put her on a plane to Iraq.
'Her father had recently been threatening her with honor killing for refusing an arranged marriage with an older man in another county,' the girl told police, according to court documents.
Victor Barnes, the boyfriend's father, told DailyMail.com the girl's parents showed up at his house with police that morning demanding to know where she was.
He told them she was wasn't there and would presumably be at the school, then texted his son to warn him.
The girl arrived in first period, shocking her boyfriend, who was dating her since February, as her parents pulled her out of school two weeks earlier after another incident.
'So she runs away from home because they wanted to fly her out of the country - she's afraid,' Barnes said.
'She shows up at the school and my son's class and the teacher helps her because she looks very malnourished.'
Barnes said school officials took her to a room and eventually found a safe place for her to go, but did not offer to help her get there.

Here’s hoping.
I think they’re actually from Iraq.
Christianity vs Islam:

That’s the cult/organized crime syndicate of ISlime for you.
well, they do use “honor killing” in the headline but don’t explain what it is.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honor_killing
a traditional form of murder in which a person is killed by or at the behest of members of their family or their partner, due to culturally sanctioned beliefs that such homicides are necessary as retribution for the perceived dishonoring of the family by the victim.[2][3][4]
Let me guess. Iraqi refugees brought in by Bush / Obama
Oops, senior moment.
This is Washington state. What makes you so sure they are going to prosecute the parents? There are lots of folks who are going to scream ‘Islamophobia”, racism, etc. The school folks were too intimidated to intervene. I am going to guess they will not do serious time.
It's a total libtard district in Washington State.
The people who intervened will probably be prosecuted for their cultural insensitivity.
Tagline.
No free speech in UK.
Say Muslim or Islam in a critical way and police knock at your door.
I’m surprised that progeessive Washington State authorities would act this way.
They bring in people from other cultures and promise them they can keep their culture and don’t have to assimilate to the bad, bad American culture. But then they are horrified when their replacements do the simplest things in their own culture.
Shouldn’t these parents be released with apologies and their daughter returned to them for disposal? Otherwise, we are saying US culture is better than theirs, aren’t we?
They are acting like the kind of white-centric, settler-mentality brutes who would stop Aztecs from cutting hearts out of living children and adults. Shame on these progressive hypocrites!

Diversity is our strength!
Mucking Fuslims should not be allowed into this country in the first place.
And this is just one reason why.
I had to say to him “if you did not want your children to be American you should have never brought them here”.
and there it is...
Meanwhile, 40% of London is now foreign born...
It is long past time to return these dangerous savages to their own countries.
THIS is the UK that U.S. celebutards want to flee to.
I see no downside to that.
Ban Islam in the US as a murderous dangerous cult.
