Are they then refusing to park Lamboginis, Ferraris , and other high end sports cars?

If I was an insurance agency I would not insure a parking garage that parked Electric cars.

I went to one Red Sox game this summer. Parked in a garage and there was a Lamborghini parked there covered in dust. Someone had written “wash me” on the windshield in the dirt.
I asked the attendant how long it had been there?
He said six months or more. It was owned by some rich kid going to college in town.

What?

What does a Cybertruck have to do with those high end sports cars?

Are they also prone to major electrical fires like a CyberTruck?

A few more years of Bidenflation and that $50k limit would have excluded used Vegas.

Why did you make up your own title? It is against FR posting rules and could get you kicked and the article pulled.

Correct title:
Parking Garages in New York are Refusing to Park Tesla Cybertrucks, They Say, “Insurance Companies Have Asked Them Not to

Excerpts:
A Cybertruck owner who took his truck to Manhattan says several parking garages refused to let him park his vehicle in their facilities. The owner adds that liability insurance providers covering the parking garages are behind the silent boycott.

According to the Cybertruck owner, the parking garage ban for the Cybertruck has come about under the direct recommendation of insurance companies that provide liability coverage for the parking facilities.

Finally, Atul says the insurance companies passed the directive not to accept Cybertrucks “because Cybertrucks are very expensive and are not covered by the insurance policy.”

Atul was unhappy that he was singled out for driving a Cybertruck; however, in the comments, other Cybertruck owners shared their personal experiences of being denied various services for driving the vehicle.

Ugly isn’t even descriptive enough.

Hideous works for me.

Someone in either NH or VT owns one. We saw one up near Dartmouth Hospital recently.

Saw a Tesla Cybertruck out on the road a few weeks ago. It had a custom license plate: "JST UGLY".

Ridiculous? Right. Posters on FR just make up Article titles willy-nilly and even in this case make up ones that are not true. On another site that would be called click bait. You must be one of the resident idiots.

Back around 1988, my wife bought a 1978 Corvette. I called the insurance company to get it covered. They covered it for a month and then cancelled our policy.

I’ve only seen one locally. An orthodontist owns it. It needs a polish.
