The owner of the Los Angeles Times has fired his entire editorial board as he seeks to return the paper to its journalistic roots.
Posting on the X platform, the paper’s owner, Patrick Soon-Shiong, said he was proud to have posted a letter opposing attacks on white women for voting for Donald Trump and that the paper would be undergoing some major changes moving forward:

Patrick Soon-Shiongs daughter is a leftist wack job. She claimed she along with her father made the decision for the paper to not make a Presidential endorsement. Her father said she had no such say in the decision. Would love to be a fly on the wall come Christmas dinner at the Shiongs house.
I’m suspicious of this sudden change, but will try and remain optimistic.
This is great news. A major factor in Trump’s victory was the expansion of alternative media, including Musk’s ownership of Twitter-x and Trump’s Podcast with Joe Rogan. Plus Truth Social. The Republicans have to keep curtailing the influence of the mainstream media on low-information voters. Hopefully, Bezos will begin to bring more balance to the WaPo.
That seems to be a rule in business. Brands can go downscale and more mass market, but not upscale.

Bezos would never let warehouse managers run Amazon for the sake and benefit of delivery people rather than for the benefit of customers. I have no idea why he's letting in house 'journalists' make calls that slap the faces of their customers. My bet is Bezos will also step in and assist with saving the industry.
