The owner of the Los Angeles Times has fired his entire editorial board as he seeks to return the paper to its journalistic roots.

Posting on the X platform, the paper’s owner, Patrick Soon-Shiong, said he was proud to have posted a letter opposing attacks on white women for voting for Donald Trump and that the paper would be undergoing some major changes moving forward:

Proud that we posted this letter from one of our readers on X. When the President has won the vote of the majority of Americans then ALL voices must be heard. Opinions are just that

He must be going after the failed WaPo and the NYT, follow the money after they lost 10’s of 1000’s of $$ and subscribers.

A business model which peeves and drives away half its potential market is no business plan.

But the Left's plan was never about business. That business owners are waking to this fact is a start. But only a start.

Who cares and we don’t know what goes on behind the scenes.

I know everyone here wants to think Trump is a boy scout but TRUMP PLAYS TO FREAKING WIN!

Maybe a little birdie whispered in his ear that great things can happen if the LA Times changes its tune a little.

Or maybe he just saw the writing on the wall.

Either way, a win is a win and I DO THINK the non endorsements helped...if even a very small bit.

But what do I know> :)

Yeah, I always got the feeling the owner of the Times wasn’t really all in on woke. He had talked about more balance when he first bought it but his woke daughter seemed to take over.

This is just great news. The woke media is collapsing. Fun to watch!

It may be too little too late but it is a move in the correct direction.

Now if he was really serious he would have his newspaper begin investigating the corruption in Sacramento and investigating the voting process and see if there is cheating going on.

One thing about the Democrats they are so sure of their control over the justice system and news media in California that they don’t feel the need to cover up their “crimes”.

A good start would be the rag pushing for free and fair elections in CA.

Note that the paper is not doing this.

It still supports The Steal.

The Editorial Staff should not have bitched publicly about not getting their way. If they want control of the newspaper, perhaps they should have a bake sale to raise money for that cause.

“Now…all of a sudden, he wants fair and balanced?!”

And he might want to increase the paper’s readership.

This! Says the corrupt individuals on media, will do the bidding of a corrupt and treasonous upper elite...
This Biden administration is the most deep state corrupted government the United States has had.
Trump can now take them out and make America the best ever. Going on a ride..
Thank the Lord.. Thank President Trump for staying the course, in the face of death threats.. And winning!.
It’s A New Day!

I feel sorry for some of the people of California and all states that don’t have voter integrity and photo voter ID. This last election proves that these measures utterly change the voice of the people. In those states, without sufficient voter integrity, the cries of the people are not heard. Only the will of political parties, the rich, those that profit from state money, ideologues and political operatives voices. They can’t vote themselves out of the mess they are in because their voices are drowned by voter fraud.

The LA Times may make changes, but it doesn’t matter when the public no longer has a voice.

Trump needs to now make a concerted effort to “Make California Great Again”...If California goes Red, it’s the final stake in the heart. He should visit California over the next 4 years often, Millions love him out there.

And it’s time to view Mexico itself as a security threat and invade and wipe out the cartels which would be no match for our military. It’s the only thing they understand. What Mexico has done to us is inexcusable. They are clearly unable to handle the cartels, the corruption, it’s a Narco state.

Too much at stake, enough is enough. Drugs, human trafficking, the border.......time to invade Mexico and we have every right......and all he has to do is go out and say it’s time to “Make Mexico Great Again”.....even though it’s never been great ..well, maybe he just leaves off the “Again”......time to “Make Mexico Great” and that starts by killing off the cartels.......one by one completely and totally. They are no different then HAMAS.

Whole new world, whole new game, time to get serious for once. And EFF anyone who doesn’t go along. America has spoken.

He and every other owner and potential owner of a media outlet should read THE NAKED COMMUNIST before purchasing. It lays out exactly what the communist goals in America are, especially pertaining to controlling the media, and gives them a heads up for the housecleaning necessary to create a viable business. The current business models are not viable, and survive due to the ridiculous amounts of ad revenue private entities allow their executives to lavish on them for reasons other than increasing their own revenue.

You know McDonald’s could start to be a steakhouse because steaks generate higher profits then hamburgers. But would steakhouse customers come to a restaurant know for offer low cost food?

The liberal press, like the LA Times, Washington Post, New York Times, and The Atlantic are niche publications, appealing to a certain affluent audience, a monoculture of coastal "progressives" still celebrating the North Vietnamese Army's victory and Nixon's removal. Where they are it's always 1974.

The world has moved on.
