Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were victims of robberies at their homes at the beginning of last month. The Kansas City Chiefs players were away at the time of the break-ins, as were any family members or close friends, so there were no witnesses.
Both robberies occurred close in time 'TMZ Sports' obtained documents from the Cass County Sheriff's Office revealing that the burglary at Patrick Mahomes's house in Belton, Missouri, was reported to police around midnight on October 6. On the other hand, Travis Kelce's mansion in Leawood, Kansas, was broken into just hours later on October 8, according to sources familiar with the matter.
At that time, both players were at Arrowhead Stadium facing the New Orleans Saints (26-13).
It is still unclear if any belongings were taken, as there are few details at the moment due to ongoing police investigations. However, sources suggest these two burglaries may be part of a larger crime spree in the area.
Neither Mahomes nor Kelce has commented publicly on the incidents so far, though they may address the situation soon. Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift have also not made any public statements about the matter.
This is not the first time that professional athletes' properties have been burglarized, and it likely won't be the last.
