Mine began with a small, frequent cough on election day and have been flat on my back for the last 6 days

Anyone else?

I got no shots/vaccines

I got sick several weeks ago and couldn’t get over it. I’m just about finished with antibiotics now.

I hear that terrible terrible virus rebounds about two months later after incubating.

I think I missed it this time.

About a month ago I had cold that began with a small, frequent cough. I was flat on my back for a week. I took a Covid test and it was positive. Took s test a week later — still positive. Two weeks later a test was negative.

Me too!

So much so that I had to cancel seven lessons (I’m a music teacher) and have been struggling to make them up ever since.

Started the Friday just before Election Day.

Modern fake Christmas trees are very nice, and they last for years.

Yeah, me too. I thought I would have some generic malaise last week, but fortunately, I dodged a bullet and have remained healthy and happy. ;)

I agree, they make very nice ones. We used to have a pre lit one, and then the lights starting burning out. Had to get rid of it. Now we have a plain one and do the lights ourselves I do miss going to a tree farm and cutting one down. That was so much fun when our kids were little!

No. Imagine if 20,000 fellow FReepers asked the same question every day.

We switched to fake trees when we found out our dog was allergic to real ones. Being a miser, I didn’t mind the savings at all.

Can you imagine — a dog being allergic to a tree?

If it were me I would obtain a bottle of Vitamin D3 5000-unit gelcaps- WalMart has them- and take a calculated 900 units per pound of body weight. When I did that 18 years ago I had been laid out with a nasty flu that had everyone else who got it out for 3 to 5 weeks. I took them in the morning and was totally clear of the flu by evening. I took it to my daughter who had been sick for several days, She took the appropriate serving in the evening and was good to go when she woke up in the morning. To avoid flu of any sort I have been taking one of those gelcaps since then and have not had any virus since I started that. They are tiny and my initial serving was 24 gelcaps which were easy to take all at once. I did not get the WuFlu when it came around my town and have had no flu shots of any sort.

Two people close to me came down with something that lasted a week.

One I know took the Jim Jones Jab, the other I don't know their status.

Yes. Mine started the same way Thursday night and then 48 hours straight in bed. Fever, sore throat, hacking cough, headache, nasal congestion, and body aches. By Sunday I was up walking around but couldn't smell or taste so I knew it was Covid. My fourth go with it. I am unvaxxed and will stay that way. Each bout gets easier and shorter.

Just took a home test and that line is still there although I feel pretty good now.

Yea man. I’ve been sick for a month! Started with some minor body aches and my hair hurt, like my nerve endings. Then after 2 weeks I feel congestion in my chest. Now I have that for 2 weeks. I’ve been doing my regular routine but I’m definitely sick. I would be worried but my daughter has it too. WTF?

“I’ve not been bothered, but I’ve heard there was a nasty bug running around for many in the last week. It’s been very debilitating for those afflicted. It makes the sufferers want to video themselves crying, cut off contact with their family members, and sometimes even move out of the US. It’s a terrible, terrible virus.”

That is priceless!
