The word 'preposterous' seems like it was created to describe Kamala Harris. Her run in the 2020 Democrat primary was preposterous. Being chosen as Biden's running mate was preposterous. Her tenure as VP with the relentless word salads and the consistent incompetence was preposterous. Her becoming the nominee of the Democrat party despite not having a single primary vote was preposterous. Her campaign for the presidency was preposterous.
You may have assumed that the end of her ill-fated campaign would be the end of this absurdity, but you are wrong.
Yesterday on one of CNN's Sunday Morning news shows, a Democrat contributor, Jamal Simmons, said that she still has a path to the presidency. For a change, the man wasn't talking about an effort to subvert the historic mandate received by President Trump last week.

Instead, Simmons was looking to Joe Biden, whom he called a phenomenal President, to fulfill his promise of being 'a transitional figure.' Simmons was the Communication Director for Vice President Kamala Harris from January 2022 to January 5, 2023. So he does hold some responsibility for the word salads. Simmons suggested that Biden still has a chance to create history and lead the way to the first female president of color.
How did he propose this be done?
He suggested that Biden resign
He said it would also prevent Kamala from suffering the ignominy of certifying an election where she suffered a humiliating defeat. The idea was so ridiculous that members of the echo chamber i.e. co-panelists and the host of the segment broke into titters.

And then what? Kamala would get to be president for 1 or 2 months? She would accomplish nothing and her presidency would be seen as a useless failure. All this because some delusional democrats are obsessed with the mantra “First black woman president.”
She would be the woman who didn’t get any primary votes and who lost to Trump by a huge percentage, and who got her start in politics by servicing a man.

Look at the photos in the link and the answer is no way. If Joe died, Jill would hide the body until January 20.
That thought has occurred to me for a while.Not only would both of them go down in left wing history...it would also allow “President” Heels Up to pardon The Big Guy himself.
Above anything else, Joe is more concerned about his legacy and he will not taint it with DEI trickery for symbollism.

To save her from the ignominy of having to certify an election she lost??? Didn’t Gore, Humphrey, and Nixon have to do that? If they could do it, she can do it. If she can’t, well, that’s just another sign that she wasn’t cut out for the job in the first place.
"Transitional figure" is an ambiguous phrase. While other people thought it meant temporary caretaker president quickly passing the torch to a new generation, Joe took it to mean "transformational figure," the transition to a new age, and ran with it, trying to remake the country.

Kamala Harris as president is still a ridiculous idea; it has no merit...and I don’t think we would need to installed as president to realize what a joke it would be. So what she do but try to sidetrack the plans that Trump has yet to implement when he is inaugurated? He is on a path to get some important things done and she has shown no evidence of that.
