Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) called President-elect Donald Trump to “reaffirm” how they can work together despite warning she would not play nice with him just days earlier.
A day after Trump won the election in a sweeping victory, Hochul, along with New York Attorney General Letitia James, promised to fight back against any potential "revenge or retribution” now that the incoming 47th president is back in the White House.
However, as I reported earlier this week, Trump lawyer Mike Davis offered a grim warning before they violate “Trump’s constitutional rights or any other American’s Constitutional rights.”
After that, it took no time for Hochul to straighten up. She called Trump to have a “very cordial” talk and tell him she would work with him on issues facing her state. “It was a very cordial call, and listen, I said I’ll work with anybody," the Democrat governor said. “I basically just reaffirmed there are areas we can work together, like infrastructure, where we rely on federal money, and he seems to share my priorities."
During the phone call, Hochul explained that she wants to work with Trump in protecting the CHIPS act to keep bringing back manufacturing jobs from overseas with projects and bringing Penn Station and the city’s subway city back to life

She is scared.
She and the rest of these vermin tried to put Trump in jail.
They harassed him for eight years.
Now, they are scared that they are going to get the same treatment or worse.
Plus, she has a pair of the craziest eyes I’ve ever seen. He needs to watch out. I hope he’s learned not to trust so easily.
Dear democRAT Hochul, Newscum, ET AL.
Assist the American people (you know, the people you are supposed to work for, not against), assist with the deportation of the millions of illegal trespassers you allowed, welcomed, into our neighborhoods. Do not give them a nice jail cell. Get them the heck out America, and we will revisit working with you on anything else.
Speaking of NY, would Lee Zeldin make a good candidate for a Trump administration? Would he even be interested? I’m not sure what his long-term political aspirations are.
He’d make a good Governor of NY.
Get rid of every Soros funded politician and their staff.
The governor is making grants to fund art programs in Puerto Rico.
Who knew that NY has so much loose cash.
I’ve a friend that went off the rails about Trumps win, demanding that the Right and Trump meet the dems “in the middle” as he puts it. 🤣
this new way is maybe not prison
stay the course is definitely prison
oh, there’s been a terrible mixup President Trump
Mark Levin for Supreme Court
The Giuliani thing is really bugging me.
Me, too. It is SO unfair and SO unjust.
OH, so that's it. Yep, she just wants the MONEY.
Trump should tell her, if she really wants help her state and the US, she would lift all restrictions on fracking in NY.
Plus, she went out and called every woman that didn’t vote her way anti-American.
I would love to know what the attorney said to her :))
Didn’t last long before she reverted to type...
