When we’re on the road we pack our own chow these days. Much healthier and far cheaper.
Burger King. Whopper with cheese no fries, Diet Coke. 700 calories or so.
Laughable. No one will tell me how to eat. “No joke!”

One loaf of Wonder Bread and a coupe of 2 liter Cokes if he’s still hungry.
I love Burger King.
DJ on a rock station once said if a guy gets just the single Whopper but not the 2 or the 3 burger Whopper then he has to turn in his man card and sit in the car with the girls.
Best bet is the water.
I heard a guy in the next booth say sadly to his friend “I wish I had just enjoyed myself instead of being self-disciplined. I missed all the fun of eating what I wanted because they said if you avoid these foods you will not have to take blood pressure medication when you get to be in your late 40s. Well, I sacrificed but I just heard from the doctor he’s putting me on medication for it now anyway. I gave up high salt and all that for those years when I wish I had just been happy and carefree back then.

What about an In-N-Out Double-Double?! With a large milkshake!
Briefly, cut out the carbs.
Use good fats. Butter. Coconut oil. Olive oil. Beef tallow. Pork fat. Natural stuff that isn’t processed or ultra processed.
CFA Cool Wrap is good in a pinch with that apple vinagrette. Panera tuna salad also good when substituting to their tomato basil bread , but still packs some calories.

Fast food of any sort and soft drinks, diet or not are poison. Slow poison, sure but who’s in a hurry? My father was in the soft drink business his whole short life, None of his kids consume a drop today.

I have jogged and lifted weights most of my life. Ate Atkins diet pretty consistently for years. Came within minutes of dying of a heart attack at 59 (my father died of a heart attack at 58) and always borderline diabetes. Genetics is everything.
No thanks from my point of view. Lisinopril is derived from the venom of a pit viper - how it thins the blood.
Synthetic is not any better when you mimic poison. Lost my Uncle John (Korean war vet) when the VA 1st prescribed Lisinopril and then added more scripts from additional ‘check ups’. Did you also know they never cross test effects of multiple drugs? Who are the snake oil salesmen?
Last Rockefeller (George Soros of his day) is why doctors and AMA switched from plant-based medicines to petrol-based in the 1930’s. RFK Jr. knows what he is talking about, there has been no additional research / advancements for HBP since the ‘science’ of the 1930’s as I understand it.
Thumbs up on the Starbucks spinach egg white feta wrap. Very satisfying breakfast.
