I just left Manhattan this morning, at the VA renewing my VA Id card.
There was a guy on the sidewalk on 1st Avenue, who was coming in my direction. As we got closer, at first I thought he was wearing shorts. But, then I recognized he was not wearing shorts. He was wearing a pair of mens boxer style underwear, as outer wear. And no one was staring or giving any notice of it at all. THAT says something about Manhattanites.
