Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Commuters on a busy Massachusetts road faced a stinky situation Monday morning when two potable toilets fell off the back of a truck.
VIDEO AT LINK............
The truck failed to clear the low-situated Massachusetts Avenue overpass on Memorial Drive in Cambridge during the morning commute, knocking two porta-potties off the truck and onto the road.
The truck initially left the scene but returned about 20 minutes later to collect its smelly cargo.
The incident was an example of what is known locally as "storrowing," named for Boston's Storrow Drive, which features multiple low-clearance bridges that are often struck by over-height vehicles.
Seems appropriate.
Chock full if dem voters?
Shtt happens
Former mayor mumblin menino would call them ‘pot a potties.’
I miss the days of proofreading!
Someone had an “Oh Shiite!” day...

In Cambridge….it probably made no noticeable difference in the odor.
Every August when all the UHaul trucks come to Boston with all the new college students there are always a couple that get stuck on Storrow Drive. Sometimes literally stuck under the old stone bridge overpasses. Even though there are huge signs and things hanging down over the entrance to the expressway warning of 11’ heights.
only the R’s were missing.
This happens frequently on both banks of the Charles River, on Storrow Drive in Boston and Memorial Drive in Cambridge.
I think the cargo of Porta Potties is a new twist though. :-)

Massachushits.
In Longview TX there is the infamous Green Street underpass; before the city had it raised, it had a clearance of 10’; every time you turned around, somebody was getting stuck under it.
The city finally had it raised to 11’ and there has not been any more incidents.
There are signs and warning bars everywhere on both sides.
I didn’t even know that Porta-Potties commuted! :^)
My exact sentiment.
Hopefully they’ll need them soon, after the election is called and all the home toilets overflow.
