OK, I am completely embarrassed by one of our own who is exactly what the main stream media paints us as. My wife who is German was trying to pull into a strip mall in Anchorage Alaska to drop off some dry cleaning. The lady in front of her Was an elderly Asian person and was cut off by a large truck going into the same parking lot. Once she was in the parking lot he jumped out of his truck insisted on railing her and telling her that our next president will be deported all asshole immigrants like her. My wife being German, couldn't take it and got out of the car And this tool goes on to start railing her. She drives a Tesla so because of that he assumes that she is a liberal and goes after her saying "put your ass back in your piece of shit electric car… " And will not let it go. (By the way, a Trump supporter) Had I been there I'd probably be in jail right now. This is a blight on us and our party. This almost makes me understand how we are painted as something other than we are because of people like this. My wife has lived in the United States for 26 years, here in Alaska where this is not the easiest place to live. There happened to be an off-duty police officer that was in the dry cleaning store. He walked out and although he was not in uniform he was driving a patrol car. He immediately interject and diffused situation. The idiot left the scene in the Asian lady never even went in to pick up her Dry cleaning. Absolutely Unbelievable.. I apologized profusely to my wife or being exposed to someone that's not what we want as a representation of our party. Shameful.
Hair trigger tempers are out there. Learning to take a deep breath and think before you spout off doesn’t come easy for some.
I am part German as well, so I can empathize (also part Polish, makes me stubborn).
If more people stand up against bad behavior, especially on behalf of the innocent, the world is better. Think if that poor old oriental lady had NO ONE to support her? She might spend all her days thinking that this is how the whole white population thinks, even if most don’t say anything.
Problem is, the jerks on their side are making the rules and counting the votes.

How do you know what party this man was? Maybe he was an angry liberal who was triggered by something else, or was losing his mind over a potential Trump victory.

My wife is a devout Catholic and I was heartened by her unflinching support for Trump. And that her lady prayer group has now figured out that the only thing that the demorats stand for his birth control by baby killing. Historically, our Midwestern Catholics were mostly Democrats.

White men have been attacked and disparaged ever since Obama slithered into the White Hut. Perhaps this guy just snapped, thinking that Asians get stuff without having to earn it. It’s really dumb to attack an old lady though unless it’s Nancy Pelosi or Hillary Clinton.
You do know there are a lot of eccentric people in Alaska. I have a cousin who has lived there for decades.
Your wife will not be deported because she is a citizen and not an illegal.

I’m sorry your wife (and the Asian woman) went through that. She sounds like a wonderful person and it’s inexcusable he acted the way he did.
It’s also completely understandable that you worry this incident might lower her opinion of conservatives, if i’m interpreting your concern correctly. But don’t worry. In you she has a good representation of what conservatives are generally like, and that is far more powerful than some random guy that she had the misfortune to meet.
