Ukrainian forces foiled a massive Russian armoured assault in the Donetsk region, inflicting heavy casualties and loss of equipment.
The ferocious battle took place near Vyymka in the Bakhmut district on the Siversk sector of the front and involved Ukraine's 10th Mountain Assault Brigade.
The Russian assault group comprised over 120 soldiers and 22 armoured vehicles, including tanks.
They were spotted by aerial reconnaissance and came under sustained and heavy artillery fire and drone attacks.
Video images of the battle show Russian armoured vehicles being targeted and destroyed by kamikaze drones.
As Putin's troops abandon their vehicles, a second wave of UAVs drops grenades on the feeling infantrymen.

Why is it whenever there is a war anywhere in the world, we get daily pictures, media video and on the ground reporting EXCEPT this one? 🤔
Muscowy has converted its economy to a war based economy.
A long drawn war impoverishes BOTH sides - either Putin has forgotten that, or he doesn’t care (meaning he has no choice).
Without the help from western countries, Ukraine was able to fight off the initial Muscowite assault.
But now, the momentum is lost - and has been since around winter 2022-2023.
The money just helps Ukraine fend off the hordes - and note that the death toll on the Muscowite side is equally horrendous, but Putin has tapped into the Moscow imperialist dream and doesn’t care about the body bags coming back.
There is a lot of daily video clearly showing the destruction of the failed Russian war effort. f you go to you Tube you can easily find it.
and my favorite is Terre ops channel. These guys kill Russians with drones. They assemble drones with various explosives to kill russians in trenches or relieving them selves, tanks, trucks delivery vans, the inside of weapons and ammo storage buildings. They always have a second or third drone watching what they do. They conduct the war wirh laptops and tablets.

Yep, approaching 700,000 Russian casualties this month. Recently due to Russian meat wave assaults, they have been losing 10:1 Ukrainian dead. The Russians have little to no battlefield medics or evacuation of wounded. Usual choice, when badly wounded and bleeding out, is a bullet or a grenade.
