The Upside of the Loss of Rush. What He Taught Us. How We Fill the Loss.

We learned a lot with Rush. No ne has been able to fill his particular shoes.

However he left us all with another gift.

Up to 15 hours of empty audio hours a week and a need to be informed.

And there are great interviewers and columnists ans pundits who are podcasting and streaming live. Everyday.

I had a minimum lying used samsung tablet that I have placed on a stand. I installed Brave browser and have opened a number of websites that bring me directly to the podcasts and streams I want to listen to. Almost like listening to a radio. The tablet is Bluetoothed to a portable jbl speaker and is my kitchen companion.

I have tabs open for Victorhanson.com Steynonline.com X.com/tuckercarlson Youtube.com/joerogan Serenaderadio.com Theclasdicalstation.com Jordan peterson And others. Such richness!

So fortunate!

Everyday is a new interesting education. Great interviewers. Timely topics. Rush left me with a legacy. To find best avenues of truth. To listen and support and to know that there are many of us listening and learning.

Someday I will find a way to put my speaker and tablet in a case so I can carry it around like my mom did with her big radio back in the day.

I have become better informed a

There’s no upside to the loss of Rush.

Trump misses him also. I have his shows from his Sacramento days until the end and started with Clay and Buck recorded, but after awhile, their broadcasts did not come available until their 3 hours were done and I cancelled.

Andrew Wilkow is the best conservative talk show host around.

He has been for years.

Check him out on XM Patriot. Noon-3pm Eastern, when Limbaugh was on. You won’t be disappointed,

Rush rings in my ears daily, keeping me in Real World

I see polls showing Trump up or Trump down. And Rush says to me “There’s a long way to go. Anything can happen”

There is NO upside of the loss of Rush.

Life would be better today listening to Rush for 3 hours a day as we have for decades, then listening - secondarily - to as many of those podcasters you named as possible. Rush would have lots of great comments about those podcasters, too, by the way.

I always listened to Rush whenever I could. Unfortunately I was listening in the shop where I worked & it was so noisy much of the time. Should have had a pocket radio & earphones but that wasn’t always workable in a mechanic shop.

I disagree. I think that many of the people I now listen to have informed me in New and different ways. Rush opened the door and built the genre and it is growing.

He invented the podcast.

The post is appreciated and I know I learned a great deal from the man. He’s missed very much and my mid days will never be the same. I used to plan my lunch hour around his show and now there’s just a big entertainment black hole that nobody else can fill.

Rush was a deep state cheerleader for way too long, which was why I listened to Michael Savage instead.

The death of Rush was also the death of talk radio.

Now its podcasts. (In no particular order)

Dave Rubin, Megan Kelly, Steve Bannon, Liz Wheeler, Dan Bongino, Candace Owens, Benny Johnson, Wolves and Finance, Trish Regan, Devin Gibson, The Still Report, etc.

Has Steyn gotten ahold if the Peanut the Squirrel story? He cracked me up, reading a squirrel story once. It was something absurd, and he was losing it, and he pronounces it “squeer-il.” It was hilarious.
