A New Jersey woman sued JetBlue for allegedly serving her a 'frozen solid' ice cream sandwich that caused her to fracture one of her front teeth.
Kiara Quinonez claimed the flight crew gave her a Nightingale brand strawberry shortcake ice cream sandwich during an August 20 flight from New York's JFK Airport to Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris, France.
The lawsuit argued that the sweet treat was 'at a temperature below what is reasonable or safe for consumption' and Quinonez was not warned 'of the dangerously cold temperature and solid state of the ice cream sandwich she was served.'
According to the lawsuit, Quinonez sustained 'severe and permanent bodily injuries' from biting into the ice cream sandwich, adding that she continues to incur expenses for ongoing treatment.
She is being represented by Christopher S. Fraser of the Dweck Law Firm, who demanded a jury trial to determine how much JetBlue should pay for the alleged damages.

Plus a lifetime supply of Blue Bunny ice cream sandwiches.
The end result of protecting people from their own stupidity is to live in a world full of fools.
She probably has weak teeth too.
As a young child, I broke both my front teeth biting into an apple whole. 60 years later , I only eat apple slices and no corn on cob. Common Sense.
Yep. People who read the details understand what really happened with the coffee. It is disgusting that it has been treated with contempt and as a joke.
I once chipped a tooth while eating a bowl of chicken soup. I didn’t sue Campbell’s Soup Company. I guess I should have.
If something is too hard to bite down on, whether because it is frozen or otherwise too hard....common sense should tell us not to bite down hard. If it is frozen, give it a little time to thaw. Common sense. I hope this lawsuit is dismissed because of her stupidity.

“Stop selling coffee that you allow to get TOO hot.”
What is too hot? They all sell hot coffee that will cause 3rd degree burns.
“(I doubt you brew coffee at home that gets to the point where it will cause 3rd degree burns.)”
I haven’t checked mine but expresso machines generally output 195-200 degrees F. That is the norm for all brewed coffee.
OTOH, the hot water tap in your home is hot enough to cause 3rd degree burns.
I know people who have been severely burned by liquids heated in a microwave.
You need to learn what really happened to this woman. She was severely burned and deformed and when she was willing to settle for her medical costs without suing, McD’s offered her a paltry sum that wouldn’t even pay for the medical care she had already gotten, much less what she would continue to need. (There was also a very long list of burn injuries in McDonald’s own records that came out in trial.)
And she didn’t get 2.5 million, or whatever the story is; it was reduced, and she finally settled for an undisclosed amount.
Jurors in this case have been interviewed and they seem to have been very reasonable and responsible in their deliberations, not ‘airheads’.
The BS flag has been thrown... Possible 15 yard penalty and loss of down pending referee booth review...

You need to return the topic of my post which you responded to.
I would bet she’s a Democrat .
