Anyone see a scenario where Biden resigns after Election Day and Kamala Harris is president till January?

Patty Murray wont be President Pro-tempore after the first of the year. Grassley will. And the EVs aren’t counted until i think Jan :3.

Yup—that was one in the long list of Democrat blunders.

Biden should have immediately resigned once he was voluntold not to run again....

I don’t think Biden would resign, and it makes no sense after the election. If he wanted Harris to win (and I don’t think he does) he would have let her run as the incumbent. I bet he is determined to spend every remaining second of his term in the White House.

Fort Benning will always be Fort Benning to me, with all due respect to Hal Moore. It’s where I went to Jump School in 1976.

...Kamala will have to read the Electoral Votes in the Congress when the time comes.

I bet she would really be in her cups for that performance.

Question: Can the president pardon someone for crimes that they have not been charged with but maybe will be charged in the future? The Biden Crime Syndicate has many.

You’re right. But I can’t give you a thumbs up because you used common sense to ruin a good conspiracy theory.
🙂

Yes, I do see Joe either resigning or being found dead under mysterious circumstances.

When the Democrats loose the election they will go full law fare mode. They will try to delay or stop the Electoral College from declaring Trump the winner by a variety of methods. They will likely use convicted felon, guilty of Civil War Insurgency, 25th Amendment incompetence, various challenges to electors and elections as a method of stopping or delaying the Trump inauguration.

Having Camel Toes as President and having her gotten a large but not overwhelming majority of the votes in the election will help the Dem’s in their case to not inaugurate Trump. So yes, it is highly likely......it is just a question of how and when.

I seem to remember that Richard Nixon was pardoned, and he’d not been charged for anything that I remember, only the threat of impeachment was all it took for him to resign. I think Ford ‘pardoned’ him for any wrongdoings he ‘might’ have done or be convicted of wrt Watergate, IIRC.

MORE likely he will “die” in office.

Bingo!

Two scenarios: Biden passes comfortably in his sleep at the table over a bowl of ice cream, or Obama makes him an offer he can't refuse.

With her sitting in the WH, even as a losing candidate, there are no limits to the possible mischief.

Yes, as long as they are federal (not state) crimes.

For example, when Ford pardoned Nixon, Nixon had not yet been charged with any crime. Ford’s pardon covered any and all federal crimes Nixon *might* have committed while he (Nixon) was president.

Biden resigns. Harris becomes President. Harris pardons Hunter (part of the deal). Biden keeps his “word” that he would not pardon Hunter.

Technically the House had already voted to impeach Nixon and the issue was in the hands of the Senate.

Goldwater and a few other senators visited the WH and told Nixon they planned to vote for conviction.

At that point Nixon decided to resign since he would have been removed anyway.

“Trump from 10, 20, 30 years ago.”

Why stop at 30 years?

Beckon his mother through a seance and her her complain about how many times he kicked her while still in the womb.🙄
