oe Scarborough loves to describe himself as a conservative. On today's Morning Joe, Scarborough boasted at length of his conservatism, describing Russell Kirk's The Conservative Mind (first published in 1953) as his philosophical North Star, keeping a copy of it on his desktop throughout his adult life.
The show opened with a clip of Liz Cheney endorsing Kamala Harris. Scarborough praised Cheney for it, calling her a "real conservative" in the Kirkian tradition.

So let's do a little thought experiment. What if, by some miracle, Liz Cheney had won the Republican nomination? And if that is too far-fetched, what if Nikki Haley, or, say, Marco Rubio, Tom Cotton, John Thune, or even Mitt Romney, were the Republican nominee?
Would Joe Scarborough, great Kirkian conservative that he claims to be, be supporting that Republican candidate today?

Is there ANY Republican Scarborough would be voting for over Kamala?
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
He’ll have to check with meek-uh.
Joe’s not conservative.
He’s compromised. Something about a dead intern.

Scarborough has an ax to grind with President Trump and he’s fearful he’ll have to be called out another four years:

President Trump owns Scarborough and his sidekick. It’s a beautiful thing.

As if Kirk would’ve voted for a socialist. Scar is either insanely deluded or compromised.
Would Scarborough vote for Trotsky over Stalin?
Nope!
Crazy Liz is going to find out soon that once the Left is done with her, she is going to the dumpster.
” keeping a copy of it on his desktop”
Is that the desk he killed that intern on?
