Get North Korean troops out of Putin’s war now, Seoul warns Moscow

South Korea's foreign ministry summoned the Russian ambassador to Seoul on Monday and urged an "immediate" withdrawal of North Korean soldiers from the war in Ukraine.

"We condemn North Korea's illegal military cooperation, including its dispatch of troops to Russia, in the strongest terms," said South Korea's First Vice Foreign Minister Kim Hong Kyun in a press release, calling for an "immediate withdrawal" of the troops.

The minister warned the Russian ambassador Georgiy Zinoviev that Seoul will respond by mobilizing "all available means in cooperation with the international community to any acts that threaten the core interests of South Korea."

Zinoviev responded in a Facebook post that the cooperation with North Korea is "not directed against South Korea's security interests" and that "it is in line with international law."

South Korea's spy agency said Friday it believes North Korea has already begun deploying four brigades totaling 12,000 troops, including special forces, to the Kremlin's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The country's President Yoon Suk Yeol called the involvement "a grave security threat to the world."

Pyongyang and Moscow have stepped up their military cooperation since North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a comprehensive strategic partnership treaty in June. The agreement commits both countries to provide military assistance to each other if either is attacked.

Yeah, this is a “proxy war” drummed up by the neocons,

America's deep-state / neocons / marxist-globalists have a complete misunderstanding of Russia's (and China's) relative strength, and blindness to the USA's own strategic weaknesses.

And they (and you) distill it all into simplistic, idiotic propaganda themes and slogans, and think that will make it all successful.

Why? These troops won’t last 30 days. If I were Seoul, I’d be silent.

You still have not addressed why the neocons would drum up a war that they, along with everybody else, thought the Russians would win in a couple of weeks.

That’s a ridiculous comment from you. Trying a bit of ass-covering now, are you?

Who in DC assumed Russia would “win?”

All the MSM US state-run propaganda we heard for a year was that Russia was losing, was running low on weapons, was running low on troops, and that Putin was on the verge being deposed.

Deep-state neocons assumed Russia either would not act on NATO’s continued expansion, and would ignore the political provocations in Ukraine, or, once the war started, would “lose” within a matter of weeks

There is absolutely no evidence of North Korean troops in Ukraine.

It's yet another lie from Deep State.

Look at the reporting immediately before and after the invasion. Everyone was assumed that Ukraine could not stand up to Russia and would loose in a number of weeks. This was also why the west was reluctant at first to send serious military aid. Remember that we offered Zelensky a free flight out of the country. As for provocations, are you forgetting about Russia's eight year occupation of Ukrainian territory? Oh, I forgot, Russia can do anything it wants and no one is supposed to respond.

Seoul warns Moscow

Yep, they're sending the K-Pop kids to Ukraine to serenade the Uke Nazis on the front lines.

It's a Game Changer!

What a tangled web we have woven.... Anyone see the crew on the plane crash around Mt Rainier. Coincidentally, all female. Not to point fingers but, females are given spots because of DNA, not skill.

Tucker Carlson bashed Russian President Vladimir Putin’s justification for invading Ukraine, claiming that the “denazification” of the country was “one of the dumbest things I’d ever heard.”

The K-Pop Kids can serenade Carlson too, if you get him to the Uke Nazi Ukraine front.

” I’d be thrilled the Norks are disposing of their best men and equipment in Ukraine.”

I’m not so sure about that myself. Maybe they’re sending the incompetents, misfits, and deadwood to get rid of them.

The NORKS are required to assist Russia by treaty. Article 4 of the NORK/Russian defense pact requires it. It’s the same as Article 5 of the NATO Charter, which Ukraine has never been and will never be part of.

No, they aren't required to assist. They are required to assist when the other is in a state of war due to being invaded. As your post further below says.

“According to Article 4 of the treaty that Kim and Putin signed on June 19, North Korea and Russia “shall immediately provide military and other assistance” to the other party if it “falls into a state of war due to armed invasion from an individual or multiple states.” The treaty stipulates that the assistance must be in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter, which preserves the right to “individual or collective self-defense” in response to an armed attack against a UN member.

First, Russia isn't at war. Russia has a "special military operation" and "counter-terrorist" actions. Not war. Russia can't be at war, because that would be them admitting to a lot that they don't want to.

And even if they admitted that Kursk was an invasion causing war, it doesn't activate any defense treaty because Russia instigated it by invading, I mean special military operating, into Ukraine first. Russia is the aggressor, nothing defensive about it.

I’m sure the S Koreans have exactly the same thoughts regarding the value of direct experience, which is why they will probably match Nork participation to an equal degree.
