Does she have an allergy to shellfish and latex as well?
For some reason those allergies seem to go hand in hand.

The family went through 100 lbs of organic oats at its prime. Hot cereal and homemade granola. Along with weekend waffles and rice cereal.
And a wonderful organic cheerio like cereal called oatios which I used to buy bulk from the coop in 20 lb bags

The California Fruit Loops are even worse.

Most cereals are disguised candy. As are most granola bars. For example, one serving of Nature Valley granola (two bars) contains 12 grams of sugar.
I wonder if an all-natural, no-sugar granola would sell. Just fruits and nuts, nothing more.

I eat cold cereal, mostly Aldi brand of Cheerio-type, their corn flakes don’t settle real well. So much cheaper than the name brands. I usually add bananas, strawberries, raisins.
As a kid I had some of those sweet cereals. Lucky Charms Captain Crunch. Captain Crunch would tear up the roof of my mouth…

I bought Aldi brands also. But now, I get most of my groceries from Walmart cuz they deliver. At age 80, I do appreciate it.

She didn’t used to but I’m not sure any more.
She’s in her 30’s and on her own, so doesn’t say much about stuff like that.

>>not have survived childhood without Cheerios
Scandal in the late 1960’s was that Cheerios had the nutritional food value of cardboard.

Delivery from Walmart is a good idea. Whenever I go there, I’m armed.

No guts, no glory. Ban Froot Loops? Why not try to bring back Prohibition? Those big bag bargain brand clones of FL are pretty close, btw.
I miss Product 19 (hey I was a boring kid), Team Flakes, Special K (the small flake kind, it's different now), Kaboom (test market product possibly, turned the milk a weird color and flavor, small box, odd little clown character on the front), Trader Joe's High Fiber (that just vanished in the past year; massive bargain, very tasty, colon blow par excellence), Kamut (flakes, a health food store favorite), and President's Choice brand Ancient Grains (used to pick that up in NY state at either Wegman's or Tops; looks like it's still made in Canada, maybe always from there?).

Walmart is the only one that gives you the store prices. All others add 10% to 20% to the store price AND additional fees.
Walmart has an annual fee...and that's it. I figure it costs me about $2 for a weekly delivery.
