Presidential polls 2024 updates: The 'silent majority' pollsters may have overlooked that could give Kamala Harris the win

Republicans supporting Kamala Harris say that there's a 'silent majority' of Americans that will give her the edge over Trump.

The former lawmakers say that pollsters may have overlooked these Americans as they collect data.

Polls show that Trump and Harris are neck-and-neck in nearly every battleground state heading into the last few weeks of the campaign.

Former GOP Rep. Barbara Comstock told the Daily Beast:

I think there’s a silent majority. I think there’s a silent group of women who will crawl over broken glass to vote against Trump and who will quietly vote for Harris. Comstock is joining nearly 100 other Republicans on the campaign trail for Kamala Harris today.

Women were a force that put biden in the oval. I have always feared that they would again put the worst person to ever campaign into the oval office. They only care about mean tweets and abortion. They are easily swayed and they may do it again. This on top of the scathing video of women on the california coastal commission hating on Elon because they don't like his politics. Having women in positions of power may not be a very good idea. When will society have this very important conversation?

GOP women who want to abort if they slip up.

On the whole, men vote like teenage boys. Women vote like teenage girls.

Their vote was already going Dem, and their participation is already high. Their votes count the same even if the intensity increases.

Says, “without evidence”. There is no evidence of this at all. None.

This is the contingent that wouldn't personally abort their own children, but want to make sure it's still legal so that "those awful other people" can abort their children.

When will society have this very important conversation?

To what purpose? Do you think women - who are a majority of voters - are going to agree that women shouldn't be in positions of power?

For Republicans to even bring up that argument - which is guaranteed to fail - would accomplish nothing more than even further alienating women.

It's like Ramaswamy's brain-dead proposal to deprive those under 25 of the right to vote. All you're going to do is guarantee that the targeted group will never, ever vote for you.

A neighbor of mine, a woman smart enough to be earning $700,000 a year from her rental properties, will not vote for Trump because he once allegedly said he’d “grab women by their pussies”.

I haven’t decided whether its worth my time to tell her that married Willie Brown grabbed Kamalala by hers and had an affair with her, and that’s how she got into politics.

Journalism majors don’t understand polling or anything else mathematical.

The extent of their math awareness is knowing how many minutes remain before their deadline to submit whatever meaningless text they must.

Right.

They will need to claim with a straight face that, yeah, really, Harris got 130% of the available votes in Philadelphia.

Im thinking the conversation will be had after we have completely collapsed, which will eventually happen. Then as we hopefully rebuild we will be able to have a serious conversation about women in the military, in law enforcement, the fire service, and in positions of power.

Abortion, mean tweets, and the idea of having a woman President.

Maybe appreciation for higher prices at the grocery store.

When was the first Presidential election that the women's vote affected the outcome? I don't know when the pollsters started paying attention to the differences between how men voted and how women voted. Women have had the vote nationally since 1920. Maybe in 1960 they made a difference by voting more for Kennedy than men did. Just guessing...but Kennedy was generally seen as better looking than Nixon.

We are seeing the steal in real time right now. Look at the massive number of early voters in Georgia, many of them women, plus a lot of illegals who shouldn’t be allowed to vote.
