Could be a good job for Mz. Malarkey.

>>Meanwhile, Washington, DC-based meteorologist Matthew Cappucci said he has received hundreds of messages from people accusing him of modifying the weather to create hurricanes with space lasers.<<

bald lies. I bet this DC based weatherman does not receive two letters per week, if that. In his dreams he gets “hundreds of letters”

I could never defend meteorologists. Simply for the fact they blow smoke everyday. If I were wrong everyday I’d be let go. But not meteorologists they will still get a 6 figure (at least) salary.
But for the bigger reason, they do overhype the weather in general. And now denying government meddling in weather manipulation for control and power. For election meddling. It’s reasonable to believe that meteorologists employed by the “weather channel” and the like being subsidized by government state T.V. would/will cooperate with the scheme and attempt to cover it up.

Sadly the more ignorant people are about science the more likely they buy into wild conspiracy theories.

I have a good friend who never finished HS. He believes in:

Flat earth
Weather contrails (Gov putting chemicals in to do “x-y-Z” to people)
Weather control
…did I mention flat earth?

Why are meteorologists defending the government anyway? 🤔
That is suspicious behavior. Much like msmedia talking heads they are not as they appear.

When you’re a global warming mouthpiece for a lying government you have to expect some hate in return.

We see posts like this.
“Nobody can tell me that hurricane just before the election was a coincidence. They had this all coordinated in advance”

A nuclear bomb detonated in the eye of a hurricane would do absolutely nothing. A hurricane uses the power of megatons every minute just to spin. The power involved is unbelievable and humans have nothing to come even close to it. There is no way Bill Gates is “making” hurricanes.

There is a small but vocal contingent on FR that does believe the government is using lasers or microwave to control the weather. They believe in any thing Alex Jones has to say.

I remember when “El Nino” became a popular term with weather men back in the 1980s.
There was an early fall snowstorm in East Colorado-Nebraska-Kansas area, something common in that area.
Our local weather chick, a thousand miles from there stood out on a local empty dark parking lot and said...”The question that is on everyone’s mind...(then looking straight into the camera with a look of terror on her face)....”IS THIS EL NINO?”
I had to suppress the urge to throw a boot at the TV.
