Call the bank that issued the card and tell them to allow the charge. Banks are a bunch of twats and arbitrarily block things all the time, and are woke MFers. Ya gotta complain or they win.
Also, I just got an updated credit card. How do I update my monthly Free Republic donation?

You might not have to do anything if they send you a new card for one that is expiring. I have a couple of automatic monthly CC payments and the charges went through with the new card. If the FR charge doesn’t go through, just set up a new monthly...

I pay bills on line except for the power company. They charge extra for paying by CC and I don’t feel like giving them my checking account number. By sending them check I get to evaluate the postal service in my area..
I had the same problem 2 quarters ago and it was a couple of days before it fixed itself. I had even contacted Jim about it and he was not fixing anything, because there was no way to find out what it was it fixed itself in a few days and He was not able to figure out what was causing it.
So basically step back and relax for a bit and then try again. Try to chill out for a bit.
