OAKLAND, Calif. - Mask mandates are returning to several Bay Area counties as an increase in COVID-19 cases overlaps with the cold and flu season.

The local health orders require masks to be worn in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare facilities, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, San Mateo, and Napa counties have reinstated the mask requirements.

Because healthcare “experts” know — or they should know, lest their “expert” credentials be dismissed, properly and necessarily, by informed people — that even a properly selected, properly applied and fit-tested, properly worn and properly maintained mask (including the highly-promoted N95 and surgical masks used by people trained in their use) does not, can not and will not affect transmission of a respiratory virus, there must be other reasons for the health industry’s duplicity in promoting and demanding completely ineffective public masking to prevent spreading a respiratory virus.
