I am perplexed why 50% or more Americans are clinically retarded. From voting for Obama to Biden to the current resident moron Kamala Harris. Some has postulated our Dewey influenced educational system. Some have said the removal of prayer and morality in our schools. Some have said the role of the media after the opinionated Vietnam era. I believe there was a time with candidates and presidents like Adlai Stevenson, Harry S Truman and JFK where democratic policies were sane and patriotic. What say you about why the party has devolved to a party of demonic stupidity and America hating?
The welfare state. They want the government to pay their way through life while they sit home and collect their check. Democrats will give them more free stuff. They don’t care about high taxes because they don’t pay them, someone else does. Half the country thinks they shouldn’t have to work and should be paid for breathing, they’re gonna vote for the party that gives them that.
Most of them do not (or can’t) read and because of this they only know what they find on social media.
I agree with you. This is not merely about being “smart” or “dumb”, it’s at its root a moral issue. A lot of people who are no Einsteins are on the right side of things simply because their moral instincts point them in that direction. And a lot of well educated people are moral imbeciles who we will never reach.
In rich countries, people can survive and get by without thinking much.

stupid is popular. And our public schools are pushing equality and race based admitance to advanced classes.
My own straight A niece was denied admitance to a advance course H.S. because she wasn't black enough. Straight A student too. They had to do a lottery to " make it fair". Her hard work wasn't enough to get her in, they took anyone who applied and their name was picked. The school system insisted on giving Blacks an equal chance of advanced courses whether they earned it or not. - FAIR isn't FAIR when everybody gets a trophy

You old seniors.. How did you do your laundry before the automatic? There were no fast food restaurants before 1947.
You mowed your yard. You cooked. You probably had one car. There were chores. No TV, no television.
Everything is modernized.. You all don’t labor all day doing a week’s laundry. There is a lot ya don’t do any more..and with that free time, you want to unstress...
